I am just worried they are gunna pull some big company *** and file my termination under something that will DQ me from drawing unemployment, or maybe that I haven't worked there long enough to earn it?

Looks like NY benefits are complicated (big surprise there) but here's the basic rundown:
Q: What employment do I need to qualify for benefits?
A: You must have worked and been paid wages for work in at least two calendar quarters in your base period,
AND
You must have been paid at least $1,900 in wages in one of the calendar quarters in your base period,
AND
The total wages paid to you in your base period must be one and one-half times your high quarter wages.
Pretty sure you're good. Also if the state agency is similar to VA's they ask if prior warnings were given, incident details, etc, so most likely you will get benefits. I was let go from the last job I had in a similar fashion and as they didn't really give a reason why I got benefits.
