If you answered C, you are correct! His name and influence comes from pizza. It's why we know who he is. Thus, he is using his pizza to push his political beliefs.
To be fair, I think he's upset that people pushing their political beliefs are hurting his pizza sales.
Or, again, that's his front for his flagging pizza sales. I still think it's misdirection.
Everything is misdirection.
What it probably
really is is him trying to get patriotic people to buy his pizza by implying those attacking our beloved flag are hurting him personally.
Or something. I don't know. I haven't dabbled in market research for a while.
The idea seems to be that the NFL boycotts are the direct reason, not the protests. Both Libs and Cons are at fault in this theory but Yum Brands has reported that Pizza Hut isn't seeing the same drop in sales so, that kinda throws that theory out.
Another theory I saw was that the NFL players in Papa John's ads are either retired or hurt and not playing. But really, if I'm hungry and I see an ad for something good, I don't really care who is in the ad.
I don't eat Papa John's because the reasons I stated before but also, no one in my house really likes Papa John's pizza, we do drive far enough to a local place that we could easily drive to a Papa John's in the same distance. Maybe local pizza places have better pizza.
I also don't appreciate homophobia but I will occasionally eat Chik-fil-a. *Shrug*
