18 U.S. Code § 2071 - Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally said:
(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

(b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.

It's fun reading the law.

So, Hillary is disqualified if she wins. Congratulations everyone, please say hello to President Trump, winner of the election by default.

I don't know how you can say he is at the same spot he was a month ago in the polls, when in mid-September he was leading or tied in a lot of battleground states, trending up, and now he the only state that I can see him still leading in that can be considering a battleground state is Iowa. The rest of the states he has either lost the lead or fallen further behind, specifically North Carolina, Colorado, Nevada, and even Arizona. And of course, the state he has to win, Pennsylvania, he is back down to almost a 9 point deficit. So I really don't know where you see him being in the same position he was a month ago, even 2 weeks ago.

I was referring to Trump's support specifically on the national level, not the difference between his numbers and Clinton's. But since you opened the can of worms on his support in the states, let's go there:

Looking at poll averages on the ones you mentioned:
North Carolina: Current - 42.2; 1 Month Ago - 42.3
Colorado: Current - 37.0; 1 Month Ago - 31.5
Nevada: Current - 41.8; 1 Month Ago - 41.0
Arizona: Current - 41.0; 1 Month Ago - 38.3
Pennsylvania: Current - 39.0; 1 Month Ago - 39.8

So... less than a point sway in three of the states you mentioned, and higher now in two. Like I said, he hasn't lost much support since a month ago, it's mostly that Clinton has gained support.

Are you behind on your email? This particular chain message was discredited months ago. Despite the inability for Congress to set eligibility requirements outside of a constitutional amendment, the law as stated would require a conviction, which never happened.

Soooooo... tl;dr, k.

I don't know if it's really true or not, but didn't she claim the deleted emails are "personal"? Then this won't touch her.
What she said they were and what they actually were are two completely different things.

Which never was attempted. It's not like it was tried and failed.

But hey, thanks for admitting that she willfully and unlawfully deleted/destroyed said records knowingly. If you didn't want to admit that, your defense would have been "she didn't know and/or didn't delete it on purpose."

Also, thanks for admitting that she broke yet another law. But I guess you will still support her anyway, because what does law matter to you, right? Except the Civil Rights Act that is.

But this is the perfect time to challenge the Constitutionality of law.

People seem to be blowing out of proportion how much his voters are abandoning him for his remarks, when mostly it's just the Republican establishment out to save their own skins.

I'm not.

I use the same route running every time I go out. The "affluent white guys" neighborhood hasn't seen the Trump lawn sign count reduced by even one in the past two weeks.

Someone actually added a Trump flag to the front window of their house on my route.

...after the tape came out.

I begin to worry that my wife runs alone on the same route...

I actually just keep waiting for one of these old codgers to keel over. I don't think we've stopped to acknowledge that they're both -- Bernie too -- well past the age to start collecting their Social Security.

Wouldn't it be hilarious to see -- regardless of who it is -- their supports falling over themselves crying "conspiracy?"

Because you know it would happen at this point. It would be literally seconds before someone started screaming about it.

KN forgets that Trump is also disqualified if he wins.

18 U.S. Code § 2381 - Treason
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

Last I checked, directing Russian hackers to interfere in U.S elections counts as treason.
When did Trump direct Russian hackers to interfere in US elections?

Come on now. You can't really believe in that conspiracy theory, can you?

Seriously CJ.

Why do you continue with your hateful, and very untrue, rhetoric?

Are you seriously trying to rile up people? Because it's not going to work.

But I don't like you calling people who disagree with you names, such as "xenophobic" or "misogynist." I sometimes doubt you understand the meaning of such words, and are just parroting what you candidate says.

While I think CJ frequently does a discredit to people who agree with him by stooping to using really dumb internet buzzwords, it's really not untrue to call Trump himself a misogynist -- by his own admission on tape and subsequent non-apology apology -- and while he himself may not actually be xenophobic, his policies and rhetoric appeal to those who are.

Here's a funny, and true, story. A guy I know was a real big Trump supporter... before the tape. He had the lawn signs going down the edge of his property along a main road, had Trump stickers all over his truck, and thought Trump could turn the country around.

After the tape came out? The signs are gone, he's peeled off the stickers from his truck, and he doesn't say a word about Trump. It's like he knows, and has resigned himself to the fact, that Hillary will win.

If you want to deal purely in anecdotal evidence, see my post.

I can point out literally 20 people who haven't removed their signs in answer to your one who supposedly did.

I'm not talking about Trump though.

Look at CJ's words again:

It's hard for a white trash xenophobic misogynist to lose the support of other white trash xenophobic misogynists.
He is implying that if you support Trump, even begrudgenly, you must be a "white trash xenophobic misogynist."

Just like Clinton's "deplorables" comment, all CJ has to address these people, including me, is that the qualifier being that we don't agree with either Clinton or CJ. I don't support Trump nearly as much as I don't want a known criminal to be President. I don't want to be labeled as something that I'm not (going back to our discussion a week ago about being labeled a racist where I clearly am not), especially by somebody who is truly weak-minded about events other than what he chooses to see.

Also, notice how CJ cannot even prove such accusations of treason?

Clinton's emails were proven to be willfully and directly destroyed on her own orders, even while subpoena'd.

The only reason why she isn't in a jail cell or even being prosecuted for this is because she is a Clinton. How can anyone support a person who believes that they are above the law, especially support a person for a position that has to obey such law? Do you honestly believe that she will obey laws, when it is clearly shown that she breaks many of them?

Like sexually assaulting people because you are a "star"?
You, of all people, should know the difference between "talk" and "action."

But if you really want to go that route, where's the justice against Bill Clinton for all the times he sexually assaulted women, especially during the time he was in office?

Where's the justice against Hillary for purposefully bypassing the Freedom of Information Act by setting up a private server for work-related emails just so they wouldn't be on the government servers (and therefor subject to FIA law). How about Federal Recordkeeping Act that she broke for failing to submit said emails for recordkeeping and storage? How about perjury for having her server wiped clean after she was served notice to do no such thing by Congress? And now, we have Concealment of Records law notated above.

Trump may have said some pretty bad stuff, but it is nowhere near as bad as the actions of the Clintons. Where's the justice against them? And how come they have to be protected from the very law they swore to uphold?

In a hacked email published by Wikileaks, Democratic National Committee official Donna Brazile appeared to tell Clinton campaign communications director Jennifer Palmieri that "from time to time I get the questions in advance." The March 12 email foreshadowed a question asked by TV One host Roland Martin at the March 13 town hall.

Brazile was both a DNC vice chair and CNN political commentator at the time. But CNN flatly denied any coordination. "We have never, ever given a town hall question to anyone beforehand," a CNN spokeswoman said.

Martin did not deny sharing information with Brazile. Instead, when asked by CNNMoney, he said "my questions were shared with my executive producer and several members of my TV One team."

When asked in a followup question if he would explicitly rule out any sharing of questions with Brazile, Martin did not respond.

In a telephone interview on Tuesday, Brazile said she was choosing not to view any of the emails stolen by Wikileaks. "This is exactly what the Russians intended to do. And they're doing it," she said.

Brazile emphasized that "I had no access to any questions" for any debate or town hall.

Brazile became the interim chair of the DNC in July after Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned. At that point, her commentator deals with CNN and ABC were suspended.

She now leads both the organization's response to cyberattacks and its campaign efforts.

A political commentator like Brazile would never be in the room during debate or town hall planning sessions.

CNN reporters and producers typically prepare in what is informally known as the "cone of silence." Secrecy is prioritized and access is restricted during the prep sessions.

But Brazile's March 12 email to Palmieri included the text of a potential question about the death penalty. A similarly-worded question was read by Martin at the town hall the next day. He introduced an exonerated former death row inmate who asked Clinton about her view on the matter.

The town hall itself was unusual -- it was a joint production of CNN and TV One, a cable channel targeting African American viewers. Both Clinton and Bernie Sanders participated in Ohio.

Martin moderated for TV One and Jake Tapper moderated for CNN.

Martin said Tuesday that the questions he drafted were "designed for both candidates. It wasn't until we met on Sunday that some of the questions were kept and others discarded."

As for the email itself, Palmieri replied by starting a new email chain to share Clinton's talking points about the topic.

"That sequence suggests that Brazile may have been forwarding the question for her own purposes — that is, to be prepared for some panel discussion about the death penalty. If so, it shows just how faithfully a CNN contributor seeks to toe the Clinton line," Washington Post media critic Erik Wemple wrote Tuesday.

Wemple and other journalists immediately raised questions about Brazile's complicated relationships.

Commentators like Brazile are not journalists, but they appear on the air to share political perspectives and insights.

New York Times reporter Nick Confessore said the email exchange is a "good argument against having campaign surrogates on staff at your network."

Tuesday's revelation came from a trove of hacked emails published by Wikileaks. The emails came from the account of Clinton campaign chair John Podesta.

The Clinton campaign and the DNC has strongly objected to the release of the emails and has blamed Russia for cyberattacks "aimed at interfering with our election."

Other emails published by Wikileaks have shown more mundane interactions between campaign aides and journalists.

In some of the emails, Clinton aides speak bluntly and negatively about journalists from CNN and other outlets.

In a June 23, 2015 email, Podesta asks, "Why is Jake Tapper such a" and uses an explicit term for the male anatomy.

Tapper had asked for an hour-long interview with the candidate.

Palmieri replied and said "That is the right question."

Tapper picked up on the email and shared it with his Twitter followers last week.
