There is only one solution

and unfortunately it's kind of evil... so... we need to create the necessity for every able bodied person to work... AND we have to pay them enough to keep going...

the Khmer Rouge figured this one out the really really really really hard way "no one will work for long without an incentive"

if you stick a gun in someones back they will work for a while.... but you THEN gotta pay the guy with the gun or he will stop pointing it.

you might as well pay the guy doing the ditch digging something it's half as much hassle....

but how much?

I can't fathom people still actively supporting Trump.

I get hating Hillary.

But not so much that thinking Trump is fit for office in any way imaginable.

I guess to some folks their money is more important than literally any other facet of their life, or the lives of their families.

Which, I suppose there's some basis for as people who say money isn't important at all clearly haven't tried to live without it, but...ugh. There's got to be a line somewhere...

Yea the people that don't care about money they are all pursuing political science degrees.

It's cute how you pretend to care about Syria as long as it lets you criticize someone you already didn't like. Otherwise it's just "bomb them until all the terrorists are dead and to hell with any innocent lives lost in the process."

Well bombing them will end the discussion. Dead people can't complain about being refugees. But we have to think of the "children" cause Syrian refugees are our future!

Why do you think they care? It's more about spitting in the face of the "man" and telling the establishment to *** off...

In a way that s actually good but only if some change comes out of this... Maybe politicians will wake up and see that if we are willing to elect Trump to office that we are willing to *** the system regardless of whatever sweet promises they make and that reality forces them to change... Forces the system onto a better path... We will *** elect that bum on the street over there to get you out of office if we don't like what you're doing... It can be a pretty powerful message...

As for not understanding man idk how you can't... Hell we got people on these very boards that think it's ok to dingle kids above 14 and others that shame and blame victims of sexual assault... Don't dress that sexy or look that good and I won't rape you mam... Hell we can't even integrate women successfully into combat positions in the military because they're too worried about what they will do to each other...

People are ok with things like these and trump has been publicly saying ***like this forever... Just look at all the stern interviews which the guys listening were probably all just jealous lol...

Trump had it right before... He could probably walk out onto the street and kill someone right now and millions would still vote for him...

All true enough. "Can't understand" is the wrong term. Meh. Doesn't matter. What's going to happen is what's going to happen. I'm not effecting change in anyone's mind around here, really.

It is what it is? But that's the rub... It's only that way because we just kinda throw our hands up and utter those words like we are powerless... Maybe on these boards and such because more than anything someone's just throwing another turd at someone else...

I think this election is proof that we can make a change when the people are motivated enough to stand up regardless if that change is for our own good or just cuz we're pissed off and willing to burn ourselves to the ground with everyone else...

Well, we have the motivation for the Trump ticket... but what's the motivation for the Clinton ticket? She's not the best choice for the Democrats' own good, and she's not the burn-it-all-down option either.

there is no way in hell any republican would ever do anything but wipe their *** spit on any proposal from President HRC

a vote for her guarantees another four years at least of ted "the zodiac killer" cruz reading green eggs and ham to shut down the government Sam I am...

Yeah. It didn't help that the frontrunner otherwise for the GOP was basically a holy-rolling version of Trump, at least in that he wasn't a party mainliner and he had as many enemies in the party as without.

I still can't figure out why they didn't go with Bernie. Democrats hate Wall Street... and chose the one in bed with them. They hate fracking, and chose the one who was backing it (to be fair, that stance was secretly held and just revealed in recent leaks). They didn't choose the guy who actually seemed to sincerely care about everyday Americans, and now let's cue Clinton's campaign chairman:

Yes, I know the Clinton camp rebuttal for this new gem, but Disdain is her middle name and wouldn't be surprised if he meant it.

Bernie didn't have the ground game Clinton did especially once you leave the circle of mostly white, 18-30 liberals. Bernie did great with young people but among stalwart dems, (older) women of color and Hispanics he just didn't compete.

Well that and the DNC had their candidate from jump but w/e.

Make no mistake, if the candidate the RNC wasn't Donald Trump, Clinton would be under alot more scrutiny and I feel alot of Dems might have chosen to sit this out in protest, especially that Bernie bloc.

However, since Donald Trump can't help but be himself, he's forced people to vote Clinton, even lifelong (R)s to stop his Saturday morning cartoon attempts to be POTUS.

Conspiracy theories abound that Trump is threw it for Clinton come post-November debriefing.
