People who don't have children this still affects you. Who is going to work for you, buy your goods/services, sell you goods/services, help increase your quality of life as you age (scientific, medical, technological breakthroughs) if the generations growing up behind you fall behind or cannot get work because they don't have the qualifications?
Robots built by China? Robots are making scientific breakthroughs?

Don't worry someone has to supervisor the robots. There will still be jobs in the future !
Those jobs will be done by the customer service folks in Pakistan.

Not really. Smart women usually avoid places where you'd hang out.

Jerry Seinfeld Doesn't Play Colleges: "They're So P.C."
Quote: Jerry Seinfeld would like us to lighten up.
Reason being? We're too P.C. to LOL! Seinfeld acknowledged this societal abundance of political correctness in an interview with ESPN Radio's The Herd with Colin Cowherd, saying he hears from fellow comedians like Chris Rock and Larry the Cable Guy "all the time" that this is why they no don't do college shows anymore.
"I don't play colleges, but I hear a lot of people tell me, don't go near colleges," he reiterated. "They're so P.C."
It has to do with a generational gap... "I'll give you an example," Seinfeld said. "My daughter's 14. My wife says to her, 'Well, you know, in the next couple of years, I think maybe you're going to want to be hanging around the city more on the weekends, so you can see boys.' And you know what my daughter says? She says, 'That's sexist.'"
Wait, what? "They just want to use these words," Seinfeld reasoned. "'That's racist. That's sexist. That's prejudice.' They don't know what the f--k they're talking about."
Does it hurt comedy? "Yes it does," he told Cowherd. "Yes it does."
There are still some comedians, though, like Louis C.K., who can touch on politically incorrect matters in their sets. As Seinfeld described it, to The Herd, though, "Louis' great gift is he doesn't worry. He just does his thing."
"If I wanted to say something, I would say it," he went on. "Everybody has their hot zone. You got your heat map, and that's the jokes you do," he said. "I talk about the subjects I talk about because for some reason, I can make them funny. The ones I can't make funny, you don't hear."
Now, if anybody starts to take offense at normcore humor, we're gonna have a problem...

Actually that age is exactly the time you'd expect that behaviour. Cause you wanna affirm your "independency" but have an immature approach about it. I had this same deranged idea of feminism too when I was 15-16.
It's much more worrisome when you see adults being like that though. Then you have a real problem, cause it means they're either morons or never matured.

Well, it IS sexist. What's the point?
It's sexist for a mom to assume that a 14-year-old girl is going to want to hang around boys more in the near future?
Something to add to "My list of things that are sexist":
Puberty

Well, it IS sexist. What's the point?
It's sexist for a mom to assume that a 14-year-old girl is going to want to hang around boys more in the near future? Yes?
It's also sexist for someone to assume that a 14-year-old boy is going to want to hand around girls more in the near future.
Given the probabilities involved, it's likely accurate, but it certainly is stereotyping solely based on gender.
*edit* And what in the heck does it have to do with humor, in any event?

Puberty Most girls at 14-15 want hang around other girls so if they are straight they can talk about said boys.
Also, I never went into the city to watch boys as a teenager. That sounds like a really boring activity.

Yeah, because there's no way that a mother of a 14-year-old would have inside knowledge of her daughter's personality and tendencies. It's a pure probability shoot for sure.

-10 respect points. No this is completely wrong. Most parents are clueless about their children sexual interests and activities, sometimes for life.
