a non-extradition country can't really be trusted imo At least you admit you're bias in that.
I don't want to be, but I can't shake that mindset. If someone is accused of murder or rape, and Brazil won't send them back even if they're easily locatable?
That's troubling to me.
Edit: This, however, is interesting:
Quote: A new biometrics-based voting machine, with an additional apparatus that does the voter's fingerprint recognition before allowing the ballot to be cast, started being used in 2012.[7] TSE is gradually gathering the fingerprints of all registered voters to spread the process, that will be used by 22 million voters in the 2014 general election.[8]

PCN isn't highly-bias. They're just a Pennsylvania information channel.
And I already addressed this. Those were just the three easiest to grab on the subject from Google and they aren't altering facts. GOP politicians have straight-up admittedly that voter ID'ing and other similar issues are intended to supress democratic votes.

Google has a clear liberal bias !
What you need is a Republican search engine.

But remember kiddies, voter ID is about protecting the integrity of voting even if we straight up imply it has nothing to do with that.

Tell you what, I'll admit that Fox News and every single conservative media outlet does this if you admit that every single liberal media outlet does the exact same thing. I'm not blind to what is actually done to try to influence the minds of the stupid.

I just don't...ugh. I don't know. I realize I align more frequently with "liberals", but I really don't have a vested interest in either party winning across the board. I'm interested in a fair process. And it's pretty clear that the GOP is very insecure about high voter turnout.

But the Democrats are my mortal enemies ! They stole all the words I love to say !

I'm not saying they don't spin things. I'm saying that the quotes and facts therein are true regardless of the spin put on them.
They may be spinning, but they're not fabricating.

And it's pretty clear that the GOP is very insecure about high voter turnout. Not really. In fact, I would applaud a greater than 90% voter turnout.
That means that everyone actually gives a ***about this country, and cannot blame others for the outcome.

They may be spinning, but they're not fabricating. Fine, I'll admit that there is some spin in the news reported by Fox News and other conservative media outlets. Since you still think that liberal media outlets don't outright lie to you.
Should I post an article about Ryan's budget in 2012 and how the liberal media pretty much lied out of their *** to get the public against it?

Not you specifically, the GOP as a whole. The ones who are very much about supressing votes for people who don't meet their criteria.
Actually, come to think about it, I think it's amusing also that they want us to believe that only one party could be involved in voter fraud.

I don't think the majority of them fabricate quotes or facts. Some do, I'm sure. But how they present those facts and what conclusions they draw are something else entirely.
Like I said, though. What I provided are merely four examples of a trove of instances. I'm pretty sure that even if a few of those stories are misrepresentations, not every one of those stories is fabricated or spun beyond reason.

I'd like to see that, actually. I'd appreciate it if you provided a right-wing summary of it as well for comparison's sake. It was long enough ago that I don't remember any specifics and I'd like to see both sides' views.
Random Politics & Religion is for topics that aren't thread worthy on their own and do not have their own existing thread.

Forum Rules and P&R Section Guidelines still apply.
Satire is tolerated.
If your topic covers a story over 6 months old (Watergate, Benghazi, 2012 Election, etc.) post it here.
Discussions on racism, homophobia, transphobia, and the like are allowed, targeted insults based on these will not be tolerated.
Political debates get heated and are meant to be intense, if you take offense to being called or proven wrong, you don't belong here.
If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen; if you prove you can't handle the criticism you bring upon yourself in this thread, you may be removed from it. You are responsible for what you post.
Along those lines, heat is fine, but sustained, clearly personal hostility is not okay. The personal attack rules still apply. Attack positions, not posters. Failure to adhere to this will result in your removal from the thread.
