To legacy or not to legacy... Then do I play on an EU server and tolerate funky languages, or play on a US server with my friends from here? That's if I even find out where they are going...

I'd have a slower connection playing on the NA servers being from the Oceanic region, no? I don't want to play with all JP :<
Hyperion will be my main server prolly. Although I'll have other characters in Balmung, Excalibur (if it's not too full?), and etc depending on where my other groups of friends are.

My main reason for joining an EU server is back in the old days of XI could never find any real endgame shells that ran during GMT time.

Yeah I think somebody said that those servers are also placed in those regions, so you would benefit from reduced lag? Not really something I imagine being significant enough to bother me though. I'll probably just try a couple out, and see what I like I will likely be going to Diabolos. Wouldn't mind putting together a FFXIAH LS for everyone here on the forums... Trolling each other in game and out!
I have no idea but seems most of my hockey peeps from BG are on Hyperion so I guess ill have to go there even though im not legacy.

That's if I even find out where they are going... tbh in beta on usa server was a lot of JP shouting. whatever server u get you will get totally mixed cus people will choose server to match their play time Midgardsormr; just like my old FFXI server, may it rest in piece.

Wife and I going to excal with some old friends who jumped the xi ship for 14 a long time ago.
seeing as how so many xi ppl are going to excal im willing to bet 80%+ of the server will be male/female miqo'te lol
