Relic-making Advice And Farming Advice

OK so as it seems i'm looking at alot of 100 peaces rarely going for 1m-1.3m hardly sooo....i'm working on my relic for my ninja and already on stage two working on my 16 L.Jadeshells and i'm already up to 3 and i normal eather solo/duo Dyna alot but mostly solo i solo on DNC/NIN or NIN/DNC and i farm mostly what stage currency i'm on and i end up with any here between a good 50-60 shells solo and sometimes whatever else currency i get i save and use for money or hold on to for later stages now any pointers on is ending out with 50-60 shells/coins/bills solo any good or am i just doin and average or am i just kill alil to slow any tips would be great and very helpful

go dnc/thf to CoP zones and farm JA proc mobs. You can easily make 150-200 total pieces.

ok i should try that i alays had my friend come THF/NIN but thats when he can enter thanks i'll try that in the morning i need to try and get to my stage finished any other tips?

This is a good place to start. 50-60 is really low.

SO just checked out what u gave me Austar....and seen that so goin /THF is alot better than /NIN when i go as DNC gettin procs is np but really more coin drops with some kind of TH on it?

I've been wondering this, is it better to go dnc/thf or thf/dnc? I have both of them leveled and I get around 75~80 in sandy,windy,bastok

For DNC, yes. /NIN is just going to slow you down.

DNC/THF would have an easier time proc'ing, and therefore, more than likely, a better yield. It's worth testing both, but my money is on DNC.

I'd love to see some numbers.

Having any amount of treasure hunter on a mob will seriously help out; if your thf friend comes I would recommend a sub that emphasises kill speed (or perhaps going for that 1% white proc), but otherwise /thf will be much, much better than /nin.

When your thf friend does join you I'd recommend he go /dnc, it will help you proc faster and enable you to kill quicker, further increasing your yield.

When duoing it might be worth looking at DC mobs, less competition and more Forgotten drops, which can be converted to gil and used to buy more currency.

I'd recommend using some form of food whilst in there, it seems like it'd be negligible, but anything that helps you kill faster should really benefit your yield. A good duo can pull in anywhere from 200-300+ and a good solo can net you 150-200+.

Other than that, the obvious still applies, try to find times on your server when dynamis is the least populated, go to the least populated zones or find out which is most comfortable for you.

On those days you are duoing with your THF friend you can lock your subjob on DNC and shoot for a white proc, which guarantees a 100 piece and some singles. You have to do all the procing on DNC, but the THF can sub DNC and help you if you get a stubborn mob that refuses to proc. If you're both well geared you can burn through the decent challenge mobs, they tend to proc a little easier than the easy prey mobs and the drop rate on forgotten items is higher as well. Pyrrhic Kleos > Evisceration = Darkness makes quick work of them after they're proced.

I would estimate you should pull around 300 singles this way without trying too hard, plus whatever 100's you get from white procs. White procs are rare but I see one every 2-3 runs on average and sometimes I get 2 in one run. As suggested, DNC/THF is probably your best bet solo, TH definitely helps more coins drop. I usually see 3-4 coins per mob with TH and 1-2 without.

Do CoP mobs during JA time rotating camps for all 3 types of currency, sell the ones you don't need as well as the forgotten items to buy the currency you do need. Learn the market on your server and figure out what a good price is for each type. Camp the crap out of bazaars, there's tons of people undercutting just to get rid of their coins fast. Don't pass up a good deal.

Edit: Wanted to add that locking sub for white procs isn't everyone's cup of tea and it really does depend on your kill speed. I'd say give it a try for a run or two and see how you do and if you feel you're still doing poorly bring a heavier DD/DNC instead and forget the white procs. Just don't lose your TH.

You should be making 100-200 coins even if you are gimped. I average no less then 100 coins on a bad night where I died 5 times trying to get a time extension.

Level up BST and go solo stuff. If you duo then the best job setup imo is DNC and THF. Dancer doesnt use subjob since they proc easy anyway and go for white procs. THF subs dancer for procs and has TH7 on. If you split up on time extensions and bring food and have a merit ws leveled up to level 5 (or an empyrean/relic), then you can average 200 coins per person each run. (not including white procs which drop 100 currency)

DNC and THF should average 300-400 coins in a CoP run always without any much effort. If you get white proc, bring food and have movement speed + the zone is not overcamped, then you should be able to make 500 coins plus 100's between the two of you. Don't forget that forgotten steps average 20-30k and they drop like flies with TH7 active. For each step that drops, thats about the same price as 3 coins.

Idk if you have another account, but I don't see you with dancer or thf lvled lol. I did dnc and thf combo a few times. On my server, nightmare mobs be always camped that are easy prey, so you can throw taht whole "if zone isnt camped" idea out the window. I suggest if you're in a duo, do decent challenge. And also if the thf is helping proc, less chance at white. Thf/dnc can't proc da white, which is the whole purpose of the dnc taking off subjob. So the thf better off going /nin or something.

Thats because I do BST solo and average 150-200 coins per run with TH1. when I do, I bring Th7 THF with me everywhere I go. We do not go for white proc unfortunatly. Mobs are rarely ever camped in dynamis burburimu on my server at NA primetimes and on JP prime, the crawlers are overcamped but you the eft almost never are. So you can do eft dhamels until you get spots. I make THF go dnc to proc. when stuff is being camped or mob is being stingy, its always good to backup proc. I don't do white proc though so my thf always comes /dnc regardless.

Either way, solo on the worse case scenario should make you a relic in 3 months or less. Bring a duo buddy and TH7 you can possibly take less than 3 months with other farming as well (salvage,VW/cruor, etc). I use BST on salvage while being force disconnected in and average 50-150 alexandrite depending on if Linen drops or not. (3/8 on Linen so far with TH3 pre-nerf pet).

Thats what i'm looking for i'm lookin for more tips and such and the bazaar thing someone said i do that i check anyone bazaa's found someone selling shells for 3k once then found same guy sellin them again for 3.1k then he went to 5-6k i stopped watched and checked people. i'm gonna try the /THF when solo as DNC/THF but if i bring my THF friend i'll go just DNC no sub and try for white proc what i lookin for is number's for the ending run's per-day

White proc DOES NOT guarantee a 100 piece :/ unfortunately I have seen this happen more then once, where we proc white and stack that TH(from a thf with capped TH gear) and get one single :/ Sorry for bad news bears~

I think your wrong I am 21/21 100's with white. What likely happened is an animation for either JA or WS overlapped with the proc making you think you got white. That has happened to me but my duo partner has a clear line of sight and confirmed it was not white. White is a 100% 100 drop

Same, have not had a white proc not drop 100s, and this is with /thf th.

I have only had 1 white proc ever. :| Out of 60 runs.

I gave up and statrted using subjobs after that.

After years of lurking this site...I think this is my first ever post.

Anyway, last night the 99 DNC (no subjob) in my Dynamis-Qufim farming group got TWO white !! procs and we got two 100 Byne Bills! Up until then I'd only seen one white !! before.
