Many are absorbed by Utsusemi. Generally more than 1 shadow. Also DAs.
Most damage from HNM is magical anyways, Hurricane wing, lavespit, dreadstorm, thunder strike, aeileon void, etc etc. You will eat all that damage and you can macro in -25% magic gear to mitigate it but its all cures in which a pld could self heal and a ninja could not.

Double Attack.
And damage mitigation doesn't mean no damage. It means less damage taken overall. PLD's Magic Defense Bonus + Defense + shadows from /NIN are a bigger damage mitigation than just NIN's Shadows. You can use both, aegis is just a waste of gil since you can macro in -25% magical damage. Why don't we just agree that people are gonna be *** up whether they are right or wrong, or regardles of how they do things? That way I can go to bed.
Consider something like Cross-counters for MNK. Awesome for a long time, same with TM hooks+2... I'm betting there will be better, new, relic type weapons that will stand on top! But the current relics will still be awesome!!
