FF14 comes out for ps3 and pc at same time, maybe for xbox too idk.
ff14 is made for console too unlike ff11 will run good on console too, im not gonna buy a better pc just for it.
I think I also addressed your flawed points too, nice to see your nice reply to that =D
Exactly... you pretty much all force the edges but the textures still look like crap, unlike other games that you can increase the resolution of textures, you can't here.

In all respects it's improved.
Look at comparison pictures, you're saying that that when the background resolution is unchanged it looks exactly the same?
People are going to actually buy this for consoles? lol
yea beacause a new PS3 is much cheaper then a good gaming PC
true lol
It seems if you want to have even the minimum requirements for properly running the alpha test, you better damn well have a machine that you custom built or bought for $1000+.

Not exactly that high but still expensive enough, I'm still puzzled how people says you can build a decent PC with around 375 USD or so, or with an ATI 4770 which unless you are playing on a very small monitor I doubt you can get any high settings.
I agree about the better graphical 'performance' on PC using the workarounds you mention. But as you have already admitted, its just a glacing over the restrictions of ps2. So technically speaking you haven't improved performance, you just put some make-up on it. We aren't really disagreeing as such. /bow

You can build a cheap PC at those prices and able to play newer games at their minimum settings. Typically, it will require an illegal version of windows (7 Home Premium OEM is $99) and over clocking the hell out of a super cheap processor.
