Maybe there will be a sam piece that actually has more STR+ then any other option that is available. Ya know, since sam ws's are, wait, what is it again? Oh yea, STR based....."shakes fist at SE"

On another note, It would be really awesome if this AF3 had like epic stats on them, but from what we've seen in the past, most of it will be like,

SAM

Head: Def:26 VIT +8 MND +8 STR -30. Enhances WS accuracy +5.
Body: Def:55 STR+6 DEX+6 VIT+6 STP+6 Enhances Third Eye effect.....

You get the idea, they are notorious for adding the oddest stats to AF, and even the best ones, can generally be beat out by even nq versions of a lot of gear. There's some that is still unsurpassed though so hopefully at least a couple pieces will be good.

Also, +1 to the AF3 for SAM having another Enhance Meditate.


Edit: Just realized I put Enhances WS acc+5...Although that's not actually anything right now, they seem to be big on rewording the things already in game and just making them a %, so I guess that could mean, ws accuracy +5%. Or instead of Enhances, just have it say WS acc +5. Either way, the STR -30 would pretty much make it useless, as with most AF.

RDM: (Add level appropriate DEF.)

Head: MP+30 MND+12 Healing Magic Skill +10 MACC+4 Cure Potency+10%

Body: MP+35 Haste+4% INT +10 MND+10 Enhancing Magic Skill +15 Enhances "Sword Enhancement Spell Effects"

Hands: MP+20 Haste +3% ACC+5 EVA+5 Sword Skill+8 Dagger Skill+8 "Adds Regen Effect" "Adds Refresh Effect"

Legs: MP+25 INT+6 MND+6 Enhances "Fast Cast" Elemental Skill +10 MAB+6

Feet: MP+20 Haste+3% INT+7 MND+7 Enfeebling Magic Skill+15 MACC+10 MAB+5

Sword Enhancements = Immunity to element in effect, and adds elemental debuff of same element to melee attacks.
Not all pieces useful (Go figure) but some are a little broken.

Edit: This is all assuming that a 24 level increase will actually require such boosts.

That is actually a really awesome looking set for RDM. I wouldn't throw any of it away. I like how you geared it so almost all of it is useful for everyday stuff, as well as being bad *** for solo stuff.

BRD:
Paralyze song! Honestly, singing can't bind, blind or gravity you, but loud enough music can do damage to your ears <.<
BRD gear really is fine, but please make the AF3 not as ugly as af1&2

MNK:
Ability to squeeze in X amount of hits into one attack, have to wait X turns to attack again afterwards. Much like SAM's Meditate but faster reuse time (20 sec). Deal massive damage, recover and strike again. Will make MNK usefull on HNM's I hope.
I don't see anything good for AF3 unless they make it better than salvage pieces. All of MNK's JA's are boosted by af1&2 already.

BLM:
Mages need MP. Give BLM a spell that can "Suck" MP out of air, but if spell gets resisted(low chance) you Loose MP. Gear to augument this. Also put Magic Attack Bonus on AF3 plz

I didn't know DRK stood for EMO. That's good ***....

The only thing I'm thinking that we can pretty much assume won't be on some of these AF is stuff that isn't inherent to your job. Like blm pld drk having a "Fast Cast" Enhance as those jobs don't have inherent Fast Cast. I feel RDM should have for available options for Fast Cast + though...we get what, head/body/earring and that's it. There's pants/feet/back and probably another piece I'm forgetting that have more Fast Cast on them and SE decided to leave RDM off of the list of jobs to equip them. That really sucks.

One other thing that would be totally epic, if they enhanced Synergy to the point where you could remove specific jobs from gear. Like, Aurum Cuirass, going from DEF: 55 STR +8 DEX +8 VIT -8 AGI -8

Of those blu ones, I *might* wear head for ws's depending how much it enhances, and I *might* wear shalwar for magic hammer and regurgitation, again, depending how much it enhances. I can't see "enhances chain affinity" out-doing 15 skill 5 STR 5 DEX, and hands and feet would just be rubbish, again, lol.

As for the rdm fast cast mentioned earlier, yeah, only 3 pieces, and more would be awesome, but have you seen how fast utsu ni casts with full fast cast!? Doing stuff on rdm/nin makes me suck with shadows when I go back to blu/nin lol.

Anyway, some pretty decent ideas going around, which is exactly why we won't see any of them lol.

Although, having said that, the last 5 jobs all have generally much better and relevant AF than the first 15, so perhaps we can take it as a sign that SE do actually know what to do with AF now.

A Treasure Hunter stat on AF3 that's actually noticable would be neat...on maybe one or two pieces. Maybe thf will get Treasure Hunter III as a trait...idk. Not gonna hold my breath but figured I'd shoot for the moon tho :D

Its going to be more like:

RDM

head: MP +10 enhances fast cast (maybe 6% instead of 5 on the recast)

Body: Enhancing magic skill +15 mnd +4

Hands: healing magic skill +10, int +5

pants: spell interruption down 10% MP +15

feet: agi +5 (for whatever reason i dont know), mp +13, enfeeb skill +20.

Considering AF was added before the level cap was even 75, and Relic was added with RotZ, they may have made mistakes with the originals. Get over it. You've seen how good SCH, DNC, BLU, PUP, and COR's AF/relic is, and it's only getting better for every job when AF3 comes out.
