My big question is if you get to keep your beta account when the game is released and basically get a jump start on the game.

Something told me they would make the beta apps ready around FFXIII's release in Japan. Waiting for my import copy to come in :(

Since this is only for windows , I won't be applying. The PC that could work crashes a lot so its no use for testing. However when they start recruitment for PS3 Beta I'll sign up ASAP.

I applied hours ago, mainly for the lulz.
I have no intention of actually playing 14 when it goes live....ever. That said, it has to be pretty *** amazing to get me to play it and deal with SE again.

He said apps as applications I think which is completely right. We are Dec 17th and beta applications just started. As for PS3 user I wouldn't get my hopes too high on being selected :p Pretty certain that there will be way less testers on PS3 than PC, because all PS3 are the same and therefore require a smaller pool of testers in order to find most of the bugs, while every single PC out there is different (both hardware and software environment), and because of that, you need a very large pool of testers in orders to find some specifics bugs. i need to move to japan so i can get ***before everyone else...
