The only thing new is Empy +2/+3 (which is really good for BLU MAB and a 12% WSD piece, so Sortie is recommended.

Ppl makes mythic in a week these days!?

yes, they claim this is normal all the time when complaining about how long sortie is going to take and how much they hate purple hallways and sadness.

I made 2(119 III)in 10 days to prove a point, then unsubbed immediately. The big wall of a mythic was the 30k Alex which isn't a wall at all in todays 11. If making a Prime had a similar wall everyone would be on their 7th stage 5 prime right now I'd imagine

No.

They don't give AH points, so nope

They are great if you're a DNC, Ranged, or a 2H DD, but if you're not YMMV. I'd say it's great if you're a BRD, but not everyone wants another REMA Albatross on BRD even if it's super powerful.

As BLU you want the Mythic and the Ambuscade club. Tp bonus magian and Sakpata's Sword for offhand.

No REMA is easy. It's certainly "easier" then ever before, but no not easy. Unless you bot. In which case everything is easy. You try to grind out rema like hotworks above and, yeah, you wanna quit.

Oh, to drive the above point home...

100k ichor needed from einherjar for a rema. Hotworks said he did 2 in 10 days, so 200k.

Can only enter once per RL hour and each run returns max 1920 ichor.

So that's 104 hours in 10 days. Over 10 hours per day at your computer for that timeline.

Not criticizing Hotworks. Just showing it ain't easy.

There's nothing functionally difficult about making any REMA besides maybe an Aeonic, and when we include Prime that can be difficult for some people if you don't want to spend 2 years making a stage 3.

Making things like Empyreans and Mythics is, however, tedious, repetitive, and time consuming rather than offering difficulty or gameplay challenge. You can absolutely blast a Mythic in a week or even less if you already have the gil for Alex and 9+ hours a day to sit at the computer weaving assaults/nyzul/znms with einherjar. It isnt fun but it isn't hard.

Slightly off-topic; I'd be much happier if they made a more challenging but less tedious route (akin to Aeonics) to making Relics, Mythics, and Empyrean weapons.

I actually don't hate the way Primes are designed, since you can either grind them out slowly and easily or team up with people and beat tough bosses to grind them out more quickly. Having the option is at least nice, even if in practice the grind is exhausting either way.

It's supposed to be a slog. The masochism is the point.

And for what it's worth, gil was the way to speed up the slog. That was your way around the grind.

Would've been nice to have exclusive currencies at double the drop rate instead of gil accentuation, but for obvious reasons that never happened.

I agree with everything except the amount of people I've watched not be able to /bow, /welcome, hamsi, and walk behind a bird until you get to the goal.
