15% actually, it wouldn't be too terrible if its accuracy wasn't broken. 15% attack reduction is a fairly decent alliance-wide decrease in physical damage taken, especially if paired with a diffused harden shell


the biggest problem with Hydro Shot is that the amount of enmity it removes is less than the spell's damage itself generates rofl

Added Morta, Botuli and Detector.

Nothing too exciting from the last two, but hey it's enemies we don't have spells from yet.

I wish Botuli could provide something more exciting though, but most of it's ws's give drown, gravity or stun. Not too great.

And no, we aren't getting Slimy Proprosal :p

Detectors and Corpselights only have one TP move lol.

Wasn't Frozen Mist supposed to be a BLU spell at one point. Some AOE terror and a good ice nuke would be nice. Coulda used that in Abyssea yup yup.

Thanks for combining the previous list with the current. The ideas are awesome.

Personally, I really wish White Wind was like Winds of Promy + Healing. But that might be a bit broken (no it wouldn't). They could give a higher MP cost for the tradeoff. I think it would be amazing.

Anyways, I really love that unicorn ability to cure. They need to add more -na effects to some spells. For instance, Outside of static debuffs (like defense or acc down), we can't remove poison, para, blind, etc with any of our healing spells. It would be good if we could expand the Erase-like effects of some of the mob-cure abilities, and give us something where we can remove any one or two debuffs. Exuviation is close, but why couldn't we have gotten Tax'et's version of exuviation with a lower healing cap?

I would absolutely love a spell that could take care of the NA line of spells for blue. Para is probably the most important for me but currently we can only erase, nothing else. Though don't get me wrong, winds is amazing and I'm so happy they gave it to us and even if they never give us any other status cures, I wouldn't blame them. I'm sure whm's wish they had winds without having to build a yagrush first.

BLU is really helpful in Delve on bosses because of this. They can spam Winds and be a huge support asset to the WHM, instead of them having to manually erase each individual. So yeah, Winds is an amazing spell, and its always set.

I always keep a stack of echo drops/remedies/holy waters anyways, but being able to remove that stuff (outside of silence) with a spell like Exuviation would be gahlike.

BLU already has everything Spheroids could possibly give.

Stun? Multiple physical/magical spells.
Single-target lightning damage? Blitztrahl.
Shock Spikes? Plasma Charge.

Really there are many breath or darklk breath spells. It be nice to have one as we have one of every element.

And we have nothing like charged whisker for ice or darkness. Most our dark spells, are single target, even magicail.

If they gave is the Ruzor spell for AoE ice, and some dark breath or AoE spell, at a higher lvl then eyes on me, then I would be happy.

We could just get a stronger version of those spells, too. I mean, if we use the above logic then half of our spells are redundant (Why do we get Frenetic Rip when we get Bludgeon!?!?)

I don't care what anyone else says I still say Bludgeon is one of the game's best animations since it actually shows the attack instead of just the "effects" of it. And really how great did you feel using it when it was viable? Amazing right? Exactly. lol

As for mobs that haven't given spells yet there is still a bunch not listed in the first page. My mob knowledge only goes as far as 2010 and before so here it goes...


Mammets: A couple of useful ones.
Transmogrification and Mind Wall could be nice for soloing but I see it being something game breaking if it has a short cooldown.
Microquake: Single target Severe damage.
Velocious Blade: Five-Fold attack high damage. Replacement for Amorph/Quad

Mimics:(lol) Just cause.
Death Trap or Pandora's Curse would be cool. Since like Draw In would never be an option haha.

After re-looking over the list, im convinced: We're pretty much due a Charm spell, similar to BRD's Virelai, from Morta or something. How cool would it be to charm fodder monsters, if only for looks!

Idk, but I think people would frown on having a charm spell. But at the very least, BLU should be able to cover all the bases - every jobs abilities. Currently, we cannot inflict Curse, Charm, or Amnesia. We can Disease with Delta Thrust and Doom with Mortal Ray. At the very least, BRD can Charm, even if for a few seconds. You'd think the master of monster knowledge would be able to accomplish this as well. I think it would be fun to BLU/bst, personally.

Right. I meant Plague, since Disease wouldn't affect a monster anyways. I still vote for Charm (or amnesia ability).

The Qiqirn ability "Kibosh" I always thought would have been learnable. Sandspray is like....Rattata from Pokemon's move.

I really wish they would go back through and do a BLU skill tier type thing with at least all the buffing and debuffing spells. It would make us truly think about what to choose for what situation. I love Winds of Promyvion but it would be nice if they balanced our options instead of providing a direct and superior replacement.

On the topic of enmity, sanguine blade (all ele WS are like this I think?) seems to generate way less than it should. Idk if that has any practical application but yeah.
