DON'T DO IT.

"Outing" RMT via FFXIAH/FFXIVpro forums, screenshots, and comments qualifies as player warning activity and thus isn't allowed on FFXIAH.

I don't care if you find someone with a head-slam name selling Flint Stones for 8mil, it is not "so going on FFXIAH."

No they believe in treating everyone fairly and protecting people's privacy.

The player warning rule has been around for a Long time, you just failed to read them.

Treating everyone fairly?? That's a joke and a half! FFXIAH censors more than China does.

I posted an educational forum on how to intercept RMT gil while they are money laundering over the AH and apparently its against the rules because people took it way out of hand. Sad, how ignorant some people are. At least some people actually listened and they'll probably come up, or maybe they won't.

I fail to see the spot where it's a player warning to post a guide. I can understand where the pictures might have fallen in that category but you could have just deleted the pictures. Sheesh. Call me a retard, nothing happens, I post some pictures and everyone goes ape ***! LMAO

if you had not named names, you would not have been in breech, showing names for people who are responsible is a breech because you can not prove they are rmt's. The fact you don't understand how you've broken this rule is somewhat inspiring of your level of education as it is very straight forward.

Although I'm personally all for player warnings this isn't the place.

Absolutely, positively, without a doubt in my mind that this thread will end well.

BUT... It's keeping me entertained on a slow work day.
So thank you for that :D

Btw, the authority of a Moderator by all accounts is an extension of the Administrator. I'm sure it was established a long time ago what they can and cannot do, and I'm also positive Scragg understands the scope of authority given to the Mods to enforce existing rules, or a rule created spontaneously to prevent a new infraction from occurring.

Don't try to make this thread sound intellectual, we don't need this nonsense!

You all blew that thread way out of proportion. It started as a guide, and I threw a picture in there. It would have been fine if you didn't all report the ***out of it.

No names = no Player warning, because there's no player to assign the warning to ;)

yes I work in the legal industry . . . although a Moderator can still call an end to a thread if there is enough inferred information about someone or activities that allow you to trace said persons.

Would have been fine with no names or pictures you breached the rules so only yourself to blame.
