Monk Weapon Type

This is probably out dated, but I like to know as much as I can about the jobs I pick up. This question is in reference to Monk and it's Hand 2 Hand damage type. Currently using (Brawny Adargas) until my Vere. is finished and just curious about the weapon damage.

I know the two main type of H2H weapons are Birdbane (pierce) and Vampiric Claws (slashing) but does this apply to all weapon types of the same nature? IE. Afflictors / Claw weapons = (slash), Brawny Adargas = (pierce), and the normal H2H = (blunt)

Nope, only applies to specific H2H weapons, unless it's a hidden affect as detailed on various Wiki's, states it's damage type as something other than Blunt, it is blunt.
