ok few quick questions, with new defense updates I found tping in rancor w/o a healer in the group is no good with the low defense that mnk has already, any recommendations to my tp and victory smite builds. Then would the new Bayld head be better for VS then khepri cause of the +13 to both Str and dex. I don't have access to Salvage yet as I'm Saving tags to get the rest of NNI gear I need. And then Legion gear Is out atm too because I don't have the time/LS for it same with meebles

Make a PDT and a hybrid dd/pdt set for when you pull hate and just switch to it.

Dont compromise on DMG in situations where you don't absolutely need -33% or -50% PDT to survive.

This update really has changed the way we functionally play MNK outside of Abyssea on anything that isn't laughable. But I don't think the gear sets need to change so much as the mindset/playstyle. We're not armored trucks that hit back anymore. We've reverted back to being squishy melee.

I'm glad the MNK domination lasted as long as it did, but honeymoon is over.

For Vsmite, you could use Thurandaut Chapeau. Also, Thurandaut body when Impetus is down, and Tantra Cyclas+2 when it's up.

Also, it's about 43k bayld for those two pieces.

Ok another stupid question for spellcast.
when impetus is up would the code be something like this

"$GearType" for be "TP" for you.

Counterstance is not what it was use it with extreme caution, if u do use it. Switch to pdt when needed or a hybrid situational set if no healer and worried.
