Gear Question

I currently equip my legs with Calmecac Trousers for MNK. In the interest of hitting as many times as I can I'm switching over to Tantra Hose +1 (+2 is WIP but is ultimate goal). I have a friend who says keep Calmecac due to the dbl/trpl atk bonus. My though is that with a bigger bonus placed in making kick attacks happen more frequently I'll make up for and improve the number of hits per attack. Plus Tantra Hose will give more Haste and other bonus without losing accuracy. Any other gear piece that would work better that someone can recommend or is Calmecac really the better option in the long run?

Your friend has no clue. Stick with Tantra +2.
