Cheap H2H Options?

ok. my main job is MNK. and i'm ever so slowly working twards a Verethragna. but as i sed... slowly. i have a couple IRL friends helping me. (3 way static) but its going at a snails pace. been 2 "periods" of inactivity from them.

i need something to hold me off until then. i currently have the level 90 Taipan fangs, there ok. but i'm not shore if i can get better. without spending a CRAPLOAD of gil. i'm not shore if dishing out an extra 3~4 mil for the LV99 upgrades is worth it.

is it?

does the damage boost Brawny Adargas compare?

I'd just buy Brawny Adargas, since you can sell them when you get Vere. Take what you'd use for fire h2h and put it towards buying buds, ya?

since iv gotten my lv 90s iv saved every flame geode iv came across... and that grand total is a whopping 13...

and SE says this is "normal" my ****

They made it possible to get geodes by Gardening last update.
Could try that if you really wanna finish the fire path without spending too much gil. (If it's figured out how to get fire geodes yet)

i can't seem to find any leads on the recipes. and its a very time consuming process to "experiment"

looks like ill just have to keep an eye for fire weather in ifrits cauldron and kill some stuffs

More efficient to just farm the gil to buy the geodes really.

how is gil farmed these days thanks to the cruor item nerf?
thats how i always made my gil. simple. no compatition, and simply worked. get in abyss party for a day and make a mil or 2.

now. i'm not so shore. farming empy mini NM pop items?

I mostly farm dynamis and do the occasional emp item merc'ing. There's really no one way to earn gil now (not that there ever was).

Brawny Adargas are basically best and easiest way to go until Vere. They've been crashing really bad on Lakshmi lately, seems like everyone's doing the VW all of a sudden. Had 15 up the other day, price dropped by nearly 50% in the last week.

Little actual work but moderate to high time investment:

Moderate amounts of work and moderate to high time investment:
Salvage
Dynamis
Sky NMs
VNMs (Crafting materials)
Black Belt item mercing

High amounts of work and moderate to high time investment:
Crafting (hexed gear)
Tahrongi Empyrean mercing



Your mileage may vary. Fishing is low but steady income, everything else will vary based on what you put in, luck, and your server's market. There's other ways but you can find those on your own.

As others have already said, just use brawny and Shijin Spiral until you finish your vere; don't bother with other magian weapons.
