I camped Simurgh with a friend and this other friend who was a girl. She didn't need the boots. We kill it, get the boots and my friend over lots me. I pay my friend 2,500,000G to pass, and my other friend starts getting mad. So I gave her 500,000G because I felt bad and now shes not my friend anymore. :Q (I'd of given her more, but I didn't have the extra gil.)

It wasn't huge price ticket items. It's called small things over a long period of time. Some guys just give stuff for special occasions, I gave stuff that wasn't huge but random to show I cared. 10m over 2-3 years isn't that much tbh.

Kungfu's probably just jaded b/c he tried to hook up with a guy pretending to be a girl and got burned.

As for me... I've done the 'dating' online and visiting friends or girls that I've met thru FF. Nothing bad with it imo. You need to figure out with the other person what you both want from the 'relationship' or whatever though just like RL stuff. Like always, communication is key.

Flirting and the likes online whether it's just flirting for the sake of flirting or it's flirting to actually get something out of it is all well and good. But when it crosses the boundaries... Then it becomes an issue to me.

Flirting to get things and just 'use' people for example isn't right imo.
And flirting with people while you have another current relationship either irl or online also annoys/angers me.

But, I very much believe in monogamy so my views are probably a lot different than most.

Sounds like Miji and me... She hated me so much when I first met her... I think she dropped her pearl like 5 times or more... Now she's the one who's bought the laptop I play on. <.<; Strange how that works out.

It's difficult for the jealous type to have a relationship over FFXI cause then you get mad at the other person for simply just partying with somebody.

It don't help that 98% of the FFXI population is male.

I met a friend of mine when I was 12, spoke to him lots, sometimes little for 2/3 years, then, I join his endgame LS, we love, meet irl, and have been together irl/ig for coming on 3years.

He has spent over 30mil on me, (split KC money for 17.5m lol, I had no influence), married in game. :)

And coming to visit for birthday, yay.

I guess the key to any kind of relationship, be it lover or friends or whatever is to simply be observant and take things step by step. These kind of things build and grow rather than explode. If it does explode or something just seems out of place or too good to be true, it's probably a trap >.>

But really I give props to those who make good friends, or have the will and patience to meet each other IRL and go from there. More power to them. Too bad most people are generally crazy and/or deceptive.
