My mother also leave into us a custom to have something she calls a "Garbage drawer". Pretty much is a Drawer or Box you just throw things there you plan on putting it where it actually belongs sometime later, or it doesnt belong in any specific place. Mostly you end up never removing something from the drawer.
Another thing is a rat pack attitude. Keep everything because someday we might need it. When we do spring cleaning its staggering the amount of garbage we throw.

-still say corny phrases "I know you are but what am I?, "Up your nose with a rubber hose!", "Ha! You kill me!", and lots more. (from my dad)

-watch all the shows like "Alf", "Welcome Back Kotter", and lots of ooold shows.

I cant really find much from my mom that I still do >.>

From my mother, I got my inquisitive nature, a love for learning and reading, being able to entertain myself pretty easily, incredible work ethic (to a fault, almost, I tend to put work before everything else) propensity to get migraines (major bummer there), a quick temper, and general mistrust of authority, particularly political.

From my dad, I got my love of music, as well as my gift for playing musical instruments, my love of sci-fi, my love of video games, my knowledge of computers (oh the 486 days lol), my somewhat shitty way of budgeting my money, my smoking (damnit >.<), being a neat freak, and generally VERY rigid and regimented life style.

My step father gave me a general disdain for strict military parents ("I'm not one of your *** soldiers!" was yelled often in my house), and my (now ex) stepmother gave me a somewhat irritated outlook when it comes to my father lol

I've seen people with those sort of physical disabilities on the buses back in California on & off. Best thing to do is let them to their business, they usually smile that people acknowledge them. :3

Just as my brother taught me, they're people too & at least they went through it before anyone else could've; Best thing others can do is prevent that to people & if that happens to someone, well, they get a wheelchair & free service & the women that usually do so are nice looking women that are model-material anyways.
