I had a 7000 point tyranid army ~9 years ago (before the massive rule changes and codex changes and model changes). We all went to college and stopped playing but i remember wishing people around me played on the scale we played.
Also, I regret that the wh40k would sign off on games with a quality level of a DBZ fighting game. I never played anything that was close to even halfway decent with games workshops name on it. :/
Blood angels had some really creative heros. Ultramarines were the balanced group. Space wolves (?) were adept at close range combat. Grey Knights were overpowered but high point cost. I remember looking at some of the blood angel heroes and thinking..... these guys are AWESOME.
Blood angels also have sanguinor, gabriel seth, astorath the grim, and corbulo (and the holy grail rofl)!
I still think Mephiston was one of the coolest heros in the game. I would have to swarm him with several of my stronger melee units just to take him down.
Was a Blood Angel guy myself.I still have all mine tucked away in storage right behind me.Memories of all the late night long games and the insanely bad paint jobs I had xD
Seriously. 2-4 Pulsa Rokkits (depending on your opposition army composition) was enough to really mess with your opponent's ability to do anything with their infantry until engaged in close combat or if they'd find a way to take 'em out directly.
Loved my mega armored Nobz on the cyber pigs... those were always fun with speed injection.
Ah yes, my nerdier days...
..owait, i used to wake up at 4:30am to camp Nidhogg at day 9 so i guess not much has changed..

Pretty nice imo. Maybe I'll post some pics of my Sisters later.
I just ordered a box of sisters for some female spacewolf conversions. Are sisters only in metal or some plastic too? (asking cuz they still only have the old sisters stuff on the GW website, but sisters going to get new models possibly this year)
They are all metal currently. Plastic with the new codex which should be soon cause boy do we need it. It also makes the army expensive as hell to buy, I was lucky to get mine for the steal I did (like $900 worth of models and foam for $300).
The Exorcist is A) Badass, and B) Awesome. Everyone hates on the model <.< I'll take a picture of that and post it too.
