Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

Backstory: Me and this dude (just gonna name him MB for simplicity) have been friends more or less for about 12 years now, I actually do think of him as a brother, and I kinda thought he thought of me the same.. When he had no where to go, I'd sneak him in my room (my grandparents have always taken this "if you feed and water them they'll never go away" attitude towards my friends) and give him a place to stay.. This went on for years.. Growing up I was only given one meal a day, because both of my grandparents grew up in a hardened farm-type life, even as kids they worked hard and ate little.. But I'd always share my food with him, even if it meant I'd end up going mostly hungry for weeks at a time.. I shared everything I had with him, he was pretty much homeless and had nothing to ever offer back, but I didn't care.

So me and MB 'grow up' and now he's always running around with a flavor of the week.. You think man ***, and that's him.. He picks bigger women because they're easier to manipulate.. He's not ugly, and he's pretty much a pretty-boy (his hygiene could use some work) so I assume they think it's their lucky day.. Someone comparable to the current movie star all the girls are swooning over, has taken an interest in them and is telling them everything they want to hear.. This never lasts long.. He basically uses them for a place to stay, food, money, a ride, cigs, w/e.. He has no real vested interest in them in the overall scheme of things. Once the 'newness' wears off, he moves on to some other girl, although he won't think twice if a girl is ready to give it up even if he just met the first the night before... I've looked past it, it's just easier that way, we all have our own problems and issues, I'm not exempt, so I don't have much room to really tell him what he's doing is wrong or whatever..

Anyways, over the last couple of years, he's stopped coming to see me less and less, he only seems to come around when he wants something or wants to show off his newest flavor now.. He never sticks around more than 15 minutes (unless he wants something that's going to take more than 15 minutes) and I've become tired of it.. My wife is looking at his facebook and one of his newest dramas have posted something along the lines of "Hey jack-*** I filed a police report, I want everything you took back.. Why would you be so low to steal my son's video games?" I encourage my wife to add her on facebook and figure out what's going on, because it's the only way I'll find out, he doesn't even talk to me anymore or anything.. But she declines..

Next day, or maybe day after that, she decides to try and contact her, but asks me if I care, which I don't.. It's not like he ever comes around as a friend, just when he wants something.. Now this is two women talking, so the details are fuzzy, even my wife doesn't have the whole picture.. but he basically used 'us' as his alibi (not an un-common tactic for him actually.. I'm actually kinda thinking that's why he's stopped talking to me, so he doesn't get caught up in his web of deceit) Apparently he got caught calling the girl who posted on his face book wall thing, from another girl's phone.. So he said he was at our house and he was using my wife's phone (which he hasn't been over here in a month or more) and that's why some bitchy chick answered..

He might have gotten away with it, except my wife chose tonight, of all the times to try and contact the disgruntled chick.. She was fixing to forgive him and let things go back to normal, but now she knows it wasn't my wife's phone, and that he's not over here.. They talk for awhile and she lets the chick in on the history of who MB is, and how he is.. I was curious about what was going on, but I've always just turned a blind eye to it all, so it's not like I wanted him caught up, but at the same time, I don't care either.. I view it as his problem when his house of lies crumbles on him.. So now, she knows he's lying, and all of the sudden he's pissed off..

He calls me up, and conversation went pretty much as so:

WTF is <wife>'s problem?
What problem?
Why is <wife> talking to her?
What are you asking me for?
She's your wife.
Okay? She's the one talking to her, I'm not in the middle of this..?
You know what, nevermind..

Then I text the number he called me at, and ask "What did you want me to do about it? She's the one that made contact with her, I'm not even in the middle of this ***"

And he replies with

"I don't care you can both go to hell this isn't my phone so goodbye"

(I responded with "Wtf are you taking it out on me for? But w/e it's not like you ever come to see me anyways" but that's not pertinent)

So what do I do with this? He is one of my oldest friends, by name I guess... But he sure hasn't been acting like one for years.. I seem to just be an alibi and the only person he can really show off his new fling to without getting caught up..
