So what does this mean for FFXIVPro? What do you guys think about SE giving out fansite status like candy? Did the redbars even know? =O No they didn't.

Not much. We don't intend to change anything for now.

I've been pretty critical of XIV so far, but I also like to think I've been extremely fair, giving credit where it's due.

I've privately taken a lot of flak from SE fans for so much as re-posting translations of negative reviews already out there, but I don't think it would benefit any party involved -- including SE -- to somehow sanitize or censor public sentiment for the sake of being more palatable.

It's actually rather hard to find anything on FFXIAH from FFXIVPro itself..

Yeah, I was just saying about being eaten alive if you say anything negative about the game whilst actually playing.

Well, they did Cease and Desist Maiev over at ffxivblog.com for re-posting a video of beta gameplay.

It does mean that they're watching, and we have to be careful not to break any copyright or similar no-no's.
