Why Do People Do Besieged?

Besieged is great xp, and amazing IS/Hr if you are a power-player and multibox... it's incredibly difficult to get 7500+IS/HR any other way.... not bad for mule buffer while getting IS to use the runic portal.

I avoid besieged like the plague.

It's a major annoyance with all the newbs shouting moronic ***as if they are cool, at least on my server. Newbs + lag + death (even if no exp loss) = not fun.

The only time i ever enter a besieged is when im going to the goldsmithing guild in al'zabi and it just so happens to be a besieged, in that case i promptly select "warp" from my magic menu and make the journey to bastok to get synthesis support there instead...

Thats the only reason i can think of why any sane person would enter al'zabi during one of those obnoxious lag-fests.
