ok. so i just got this crazy idea.
WHAT IF!
WAR99/COR49 could use Fighter's Roll.
SAM99/COR49 could use Samurai Roll.
THF99/COR49 could use Rogue's Roll.

Essentially, i'm trying to get to the point of..
What if we could buff ourselves?
WAR could enhance their party's double attack rate
SAM could get an ungodly tp enhancement
THF could enhance their pt's crit rate

All jobs /COR49 at that point too could use QD, (with proper requirements filled)

could /COR49 be an amazing sub job for lvl99?
What're your thoughts?

It could have its uses, for sure, but all buffs are gimped as a sub, and as such you'd be better off just finding a COR to buff your party.

Not a bad idea in theory, but you'd want to /DNC or /NIN for solo, or /THF for farming, or /SAM for DDing, or /DRG for Zerg. /COR has really no use, unfortunately.

If it were a good idea, people would be using /BRD now, for March. Even gimped as a sub, it would be more useful than the gimped version of Fighter's Roll, for instance.

Obviously this logic is broken at the fact you can only have 2 COR buffs up per character lol.

Wrong, 2 buffs per cor main, 1 buff per cor sub, same as brd.

You can have 20 rolls up, assuming you have 10 CORs. But can only use one roll as a /COR job.

Someone has a Pirate fetish :o

But seriously
I think it could be pretty fun, but probably not practical, especially sacrificing whatever you'd get from your sub.
Probably an amazing sub for lowman stuff like duos or messing around, but if the buff from that sacrifices a whole subjob for it, it would be limited to messing around/lowman only :p

2 cor buffs by a single cor. 2 cor will result in 4 rolls on 1 character

/nin would be better anyways.

+30% crit rate from that one JA.

And it's only level 40!

For Innin you have to be behind the mob for it to effect, yes it'd be good but you'd take hate pretty quick making Innin useless til someone else takes hate, then you have to move to the back of them. Plus at that point alot of DDs are going to use Innin making it twice as hard to get behind the mob because everyone's rushing towards the back.

I don't really like Innin c.c

I could see brd99/cor49 actually having uses.

even if you only get one more tic of refresh through evokers roll, I think it's still going to be incredibly helpful when playing brd in a mage party.

Also the fact that brd's will probably get Ballad III on the way to 99 lol.

Ballad III + Ballad II + Evokers Roll = happy mages

I dunno if one tic more of MP would be worth the loss of Blink and Stoneskin though.
