Provoker: How Hard?

Hello, the title speaks for it self but I was lucky enough to get Satiator Remnant and was wondering if me and my 3 BLM friends could kill Provoker in Promyvion - Vahzl. Wiki says it can be easily done using sleep/nuke but it also says it changes elements alot. Does anyone have any first hand experiences with this monster or know if it can change to dark element (No sleep if it does ><). Thanks~

Well I do it with my friend for a bit time since we both want a Stone Gorget. and we are 0/5 so far on any Stone GOrget drops <.<. But what I can tell you is its easily done with 3 BLM's. Our first try was 3 BLM's 1 COR and 1 RDM. BLM's did timed nuke Freeze while COR did QD Light Shot (and it lands really well). BLM starts resting afterwards and RDM can resleep it with Sleep II if its on Light Element QD get resistet of course. For some troubles you could do also a ES SLeep II order just in case, so the problem is solved. Each wave of Freeze x3 takes the NM ~30%HP.

So next we gonna try with just 1 COR and 3 BLM (COR for make it more confitable). But thats is^^, isn't really that hard as we thought first too hehe. Gl on drops :)

FOr some reason i can qoute it but w/e.... Does it Change its Element alot? and it seems like its a sucky drop rate :/

It changes elements every 45 sec. - 1m what I could notice but only when its awake If I'm right. So if you just sleep it -> rest and renuke you get a good chance that it changes element while your nuke land. But after 5 runs I didn't had any problem that it was Ice Element and got HP back from freeze instead lost it.

And yea drop rate seems bad. Well SE are under drugs while makeing such NM's like this ww.

So much to do for it. ..
