Is it possible to extract the video that plays in the background on the Character Select screen? Does anyone know if it's a video file or if it's in the .dats?

You mean the character select screen with grass? that's a zone not a video.

It's literally just a camera that goes along a set path that loads the actual zone file, it's not a video or anything.

If you really wanted to record it or something you might be able to make all of the assets the title screen uses transparent or something? Honestly not sure.
