POL Viewer Problem

So I didn't log in for about a week and now I can't log in because POL Viewer is a permanent black window. The music plays, so SOME part of the program is loading, but I've changed nothing except maybe updating my graphics card driver.

I uninstalled and reinstalled POL Viewer and the problem persists. Doesn't matter if I'm launching directly or through Windower, both result in a black window.

Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?

Roll back your gpu driver, as it's most likely the cause.

Swing and a miss, I hadn't actually updated my driver, but updated it (still black) then rolled it back (still black).

And figured it out: Windows 10 version 1809 installed itself.

I discovered that it was making Google Maps fail to render in the same way that POL was failing to render, so I reverted it. I guess it's not surprising since nothing nice has been said about version 1809.

Quite odd. Will have to give it a whirl.
