Summoner Darkness Skillchain New BPs + Staff ??

Hey fellow summoners.

Anyone know if we can self darknes skillchain with staff + any of the new BPs?

Ive tried Shattersoul + Craig Throw but that didnt work.

Anyone know of any working combo for darkness skillchain?

Shattersoul + Rush I think would create Darkness.

Shattersoul and craig are both gravitation.

You need a distortion to make darkness with a gravitation ws/bp.

Looking staffs ws, youre without luck, as the only distortion ws smn can use is from relic staff.

Shattersoul -> Rush
Shattersoul -> Spinning Dive
Spinning Dive -> Cataclysm -> Spinning Dive

And there are others for sure.

No real need to test individual combinations. We know the elements of all the bps and player/pet ws.

Bg wiki has it set up pretty easy where each ws/bp page has the listed elements that go to there pages. And each element page has what other elements can be used to make skillchains with one and what skillchain that would make as well as all the ws/bp that have the element of that page

Will give you every skillchain with every weapon, ability, spell etc..

I wouldn't recommend ffxicalc. Shattersoul > flaming crush is not listed as a fragmentation skillchain on ffxicalc and that is SMN's best option in any situation that you would be attacking along with Ifrit. Shattersoul > flaming crush > flaming crush is insane for damage when you have apogee available.

It's even more simple (as most people don't use the non70 BPs).

All big BPs (the Lv70 physical line and any relevant 99s) all have the T2 SC of their aligned element. E.g. Ifrit's Flaming Crush is Fusion (Fire-Light), Garuda's Predator Claws and Ramuh's end two Strikes are all Fragmentation (Thunder-Wind), Shiva's Rush is Distortion (Water-Ice), etc.

The only ones that don't follow this are Carbuncle and Cait Sith. But then they don't really have high end physical BPs anyways.

So 99% of the time you don't even need to look up their props so long as you remember the element of the SC props.
