Alright, I followed the advice here. Potency-wise everything is fine. I just can't seem to cast the NEXT song any faster than the casting bar reaching ~50%? ...This can't be right.

This is my fast cast set for all songs (regular and dummy)

This is my midcast set for dummy songs:

No matter what I try, I simply cannot cast the NEXT song while the current song's casting bar is 40-50%.

Am I wrong? Is there's a minimum delay to the casting the next song? :/

Edit: I just saw MT's set. I think I'm good on the FastCast front. But ...am I wrong to expect that the next second should be able to be cast sooner? (while the current song casting bar is at say 20% instead of currently 40-50%?)

It might just be the general JA (1~ sec) / Spell Lock (3~ sec) that you still have to wait for, the 40-50% range is where my animations go off and I can cast the next spell.

Why are you guys worrying about "Recast" & "Midcast Dummy" songs timers... You really only cast songs with Nitro majority of the time or if your extending Soul Voice. If someone dies after Nitro wears you can just give them 5 Minute songs & once you have Stage 5 Horn dummy songs are no longer an issue.

Learn how to sing and then you won't have these problems.

Under nitro i can cast when the bar is 30%. Otherwise, I can start at 40%. It's the universal delay, but it shouldn't be 50%.

Already gave my $0.02 on the methods but was ignored, have fun with whatever silliness you enjoy!

What you can try is spending your 30mil galli(like I been saying for months) and skip all this nonsense haha. Your life is easier and everyone else is happy :)

Awe, how sweet, your parents taught you to avoid admitting when you're wrong. Not the best lesson but I'm not gonna judge.

In case anyone else wants to do their songs in nonsensical ways because they can't read chat logs, here's another factually superior set, which will give you lower numbers on your UI so you don't have to use your brain too much.

Nice thing is your team can still get better dummies, while you have 50% DT instead of wearing trash gear. And since you're using nitro and your song cooldowns are 0s, it doesn't pile on totally useless FC which does nothing at all.

I think it's a neat set, if you're looking to visibly see which songs are dummies and which are not. If you don't have nitro, you can use the other set I proposed on the last page which also has 50 DT, if for some reason you insist on having shitty dummy songs.

Or you can just use worse gear because it's too scary to admit that the guy you don't like was right and you were wrong. It's your choice, at the end of the day.

Thanks for your persistent quibbling. I was able to figure out where the delay was coming from when applying my songs using my new stage 4 horn.

I was incurring a delay when casting Aria and not wearing Loughnashade. (Gear swapping was taking place! just like Marsyas/Honor March would have, but there was a bug causing the the action packet to be dropped. My own configuration compounded the problem by the order in which I loaded addons/plugins):

Please forgive the lengthy explanation of the pull request. I used claude for the markdown and testing/measurements. I genuinely had never gone this deep across multiple plugins, components and packets. But hey, I'm committed to being a life-long learner.
