It's something like 1-10 levels above the synthesis level 1% HQ rate, 11-30 levels above 30% HQ rate, 31+ levels above 50% HQ rate. I don't have the links that verify it, but from my own experience, it's pretty much correct.

I'm not sure if those numbers are correct though, I just copied it straight from wiki.

Is it possible to get T3 on RCB?

I'm guessing yes since:

110 skill cap
Hocho:+3
chef hat:+1
apron/smock:+1
Megamoghancement:+5
Advanced SIS: +3

total:123
rcb cap:71

according to the chart you need 51+ skill over the cap to hit T3, so would getting hocho and skilling up to 110 be a wise investment for rcb spammage? wondering if i can fund a relic on it since i'm too lazy to do dyna/fish.

No cooking torque yet(probably wont ever be since cooking has hocho and no other craft gets an equivalent)

There is no cooking torque, unfortunately.

You have to lug a lot of flour around for T3, since you need synth support, but it can be done. Assuming you don't bankrupt getting to 110, anyway.

Just trying to figure out if it's worth it in the end. 105-110 looks expensive and nobody really uses those steaks =(

Related to OP,but not the necro bump!

I once HQ'd while skilling up!

Was cutting up logs into lumber and think I was 2 or 3 levels under cap and I HQ'd in 2 logs AND got a .1 skill up :D

Cooking is likely the least expensive of all crafts to level to 110. Woodworking may honestly win as "cheapest", or come in a close second.

Oh I'm sure, I just find that cooks have this weird skewed idea of how much a craft is supposed to cost to level. At least, all my cooking buddies do.

Although cooking is the cheapest to level it's also the cheapest returns. goldsmithing is expensive to level but you can make decent profit turning geodes into gems. cloth/leather are expensive to max out but if you happen to -1 a hexed you can sell it for 30-40million. smithing can turn a cursed breastplate-1 into a cool 40m too. cooking although is the cheapest, it takes tons of rcb stacks to come anywhere close to that level of profit and the ah is usually flooded with 100+ stacks of rcb anyway so it gets undercutted from 150k/stack one hour then the next hour down to 110k/stack
