Eh, we should do away with the clean shaven look. It's so unnatural.
i like being clean shaven. i just think it looks more professional on me. there are some people who can pull it off, but i can't. i could rock a beard if i didn't have to do anything, or be anywhere. if i could like, be a lumberjack, a farmer, or a bank robber? i would definitely rock a beard... maybe. i'd rather just never get a hair cut again.
That's the whole thing I want to do away with. It's professional, yes. But what if we changed the perception of professionalization?
Oh... and I know the males don't want to talk about this but whatever, it was brought up. The bleeding doesn't bother me. It's the pain and assfucktarded emotions that come out of it. I'm just glad I'm not super emotional regardless. I feel bad for those females.
So it was what I was thinking!
lol Nah, that's not why I posted it at all. Someone else brought it up!

I really doubt "failing to maintain an image and letting natural growth happen uncontrolled" will really ever exude "professionalism" lol
I'm not against trimming here, just saying that beards should be considered professional. Although that would be awesome.

I think being so personally offended at your own facial hair that you have to take a razor that's worth as much as *** gold and scrape your entire face with it daily is more worrisome than having a beard.

*snickers*
Oh you...!
Also, I love beards. But not everyone can pull it off. Just like some dudes look strange without facial hair.
I don't see what's so unprofessional about a beard if it's kept neat. /shrug
i'm not at all personally offended by my own hair. i just think i look better without it. i feel more confident in the life i lead with a clean shaven face. i don't need a beard to prove my manliness. i scrape a shitty dull blade across some of my most vulnerable blood movers. WUTCHU GUNNA DO TO ME THAT'S WORSE THAN I DO TO MYSELF!?
Eh, it's just appearance is still big in professionalism. Sadly not just with the beard thing. It's unfortunate really that your character and ability can be based on trivial things. (Not saying a wildly unkept beard should be all right, but facial hair kept up with... What's the big deal?) MEhhh
yeah, the point was that why is it considered an unprofessional appearance when kept neat? This dude had a beard, maybe they should take notes from our forefathers!

Exactly! If Karl Marx had a beard, I should be able to, too!
its ok, I understood the Bear Grylls reference about pee drinking even though I've never seen the show.
Abe Lincoln is not a good example...he was always being judged by his appearances because he was often disheveled, wearing rags and his clothes never fit right and he didn't really care. I only know this because I went to Lincoln Memorial U and they make you take a ridiculous class and I had to write about it.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
