Min earring for me, I have dual brd more often than not and cor. Not many dancers on this server. Gonna pick up a fowling for war anyways so will be using that and minuet instead of aseir and minuet when I get it.

As /WAR Elvaan is 65 and Hume is 68, but he had it on his SS of the Calculator as 66 DEX so I assumed he was calculating SAM/NIN (Which has Hume with 69 I'm pretty sure?)
I don't sub nin, irrelevant. Any time I have to sub nin, I go mnk. (unless it's a ls event in which I'm specifically told to come sam/nin, then it's not my choice)

Should only ever be active with 2 brds. Double march w/ 1 brd

Yeah, well for comparison's sake, Clinpachi should be setting his base to 65 then, not 66, since he's comparing SAM/NIN to SAM/WAR atm. Just being nitpicky.

Edit: Comparing Elvaan SAM/NIN to Hume SAM/WAR I should have said.

Ok with minuet that makes up for the original statement, i just wanted to see for myself the actual differences.

I'll compare the WS sets next, i need to change a lot on mine i think.

Ah you know what i switched job to check my base DEX and i thought i was /war but i was /nin, in either case very small almost unnoticeable drop there. Good find.

Oh, I thought you were doing ws sets. Just went in and plugged in my own numbers (since I'm on sam now)

90% when no minuet, 92% w/ minuet.

Keeping in mind half the birds are lv 81 and have 334 eva and 1 less lv correlation,

95% w/ minuet, 93% w/o.

So w/ minuet I average 93.5% hitrate
w/o I average 91.5%

That's exactly what i just worked out myself 93% and 95% on 81 and 82 mobs 91% 93%.

Perfect. I just want to make sure i'm on the same page before i compare.

Vegetto's Samurai Polearm TP

5-Hit Build
91%~ Accuracy without food
Haste+19%
Attack+33
STR+22
DEX+25

Clinpachi's Samurai Polearm TP

5-Hit Build
80%~ Accuracy without food
Haste+20%
Attack+48
STR+16
DEX+24

Interesting how much that ACC difference rapes my set. It comes close but when you'd eat meat and I'd eat sushi and swap to turban for 1% more haste i can already easily predict that parse readout.

His Set:

STR+25
DEX+27

Your Set:

STR+19
DEX+26

Fixed it again, it's the Rajas Ring haha

This is the closest i can get with 91% accuracy without food and 21% haste. Perfect 5 hit on the nose as well.

Ugh.

But the money you'd shell out on dusk+1 is just HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE.

Looks worth the extra 2% haste if you can get dusk +1. I don't think 2 accuracy would make/break the set though over Pole Grip if you were to actually use that set. But I'm assuming you listed it just to see how close to acc cap you're able to get.

Yeah 91%, if you lost the grip for pole you'd be down to 90.1% accuracy without food.

No, you're doing it wrong. DEX is +39 not +44. Love Torque is 5 DEX. Taking it out for Ancient is -1 DEX, making it +39 from +40.

You also put 256 skill instead of 263. It's capped at 95% with the correct stats put in. (94.3% if you use pole grip instead.)

i just spotted this xD my bad lol. heres my fix :

with this set you replace the mythril grip and fowling earring for rose strap + attilia's earring.

and replace rajas (omgwtfbbq) with a 2nd tor ring.

set above also including taking out love torque for ancient torque.

@ virtu

im taking out love torque so you have to deduct -7 pole skill which will give you 256. you just did the same thing i did, except with skill ( i forgot to adjust dex)

Just a note, Zilant/Rajas/Hollow/Pole is an option over Toreador's x2/Atilla's/Rose too. So many damn possibilities, they all work though lol
