So this is going to be a bit weird but I have noticed a bit of suspect activity on my account and I'm not sure what step to take next. I just happened to look at my profile here on FFXIAH and noticed it says I have sold a fair amount of Durium Chains. Now the thing is, I know I haven't sold anything on the AH recently so there is no way I should have sold 25 durium chains yesterday, it's impossible.

Is it possible this is a mistake on FFXIAH or should I be concerned right now? I'm at work so I don't have the ability to log in to the game right now.

shield's hidden effect: forces non-currently logged character to farm the mats you need and AH them at reasonable prices.

I have been able to log on to the FFXI forums, my password hasn't changed and my token is still linked. Hopefully when I'm home this evening, nothing untoward will have happened and I'll be 1.25m gil richer from those chains.

I suppose I'm a glass half full kind of guy.

I've seen that sort of thing happen with FFXIAH sales listings before on one of my alts - sold one Eschite Ore, but FFXIAH showed selling 15.

This occasionally happens when a spooky ghost is in your computer. I see from your profile, assuming said spooky ghost has not influenced such information, that you have Paladin mastered. I'd highly suggest use of PLD to solve this problem.

When you use packets to buy from ah in rapid succession, something causes data to be stored in an exponential manner. The games display filters out clones based on identical time, but xiah doesnt. OP probably listed a few chains and forgot, and toralin needs to slow down with his addon.

I'm not shaming you or anything, that's what happened and OP has no reason to be concerned unless they're positive they never listed a chain.

I've used it myself plenty, I slowed down because of the way it shows up here.

Always remember to:

Keep your operating system / anti-malware / anti-virus / other INTERNET security programs up-to-date.

Never give out your passwords or let other people use your stuff.

If something is suspicious you can report it, but its best to change your passwords as soon as possible.

Remember to reboot your computer some time. It is also good to do a full shutdown some times -- removing the power cable and waiting a couple minutes before plugging it back in and then restarting.

Probably this.

Did you click on his name in his post, and look at the corresponding history? I see a lot of chains sold...

This is a parser bug, and I'm looking into it. There's nothing wrong with your account; that data comes from us. Something made it read your one durium chain sale a couple dozen times.

I monitor ffxiah for durium chain sales and when I see one I instantly hack that user's dataframe megabase and sell 23 more durium chains from their character. Get wrecked kid.
