About time to make this. Last year was a huge success, and AGDQ 2016 broke all records, let's see if SGDQ manages to follow in its footsteps.

What is SGDQ?
Games Done Quick is a series of charity video game marathons. These events feature high-level play by speedrunners raising money for charity. Games Done Quick has teamed up with several charities in its six-year history, such as Doctors Without Borders and the Prevent Cancer Foundation. SGDQ benefits Doctors Without Borders.
The schedule looks stacked this year, tons of amazing games and runners. Looking forward to it!

I have this open while playing Dragon's Dogma and I find myself saying things in my head while playing as if I were doing a speed run on there lol
That makes me wonder... does anyone do a Dragon's Dogma speedrun? I know the "speedrun" mode exists in the game but that has like a you are already 200, eternal ferrystone, quest items pre-farmed, port crystals set up etc. I would want to do a new game speedrun. I'm actually wondering how they will do the elder scrolls games on Thursday.
Vanilla, no console, no mods, console version only? Just a heads up all runs are hirin being uploaded to the games done quick YouTube channel within a few hours, so if you missed a run, you can watch it there.
Also, lol DS battery dying on the last level of the new super Mario 2 run. Link's Awakening DLC run next. \o/

EDIT: herpderp, what is reading? I wouldn't be surprised if people do, but it's probably not particularly popular. And it takes AAA RPGs to make GDQ marathons. Which is why games like Xenosaga, Chrono Cross, and other extremely long non-FF games will never be seen on A/SGDQ. my man zorla rocking that sweater over a dress shirt+tie
