Why do you want to be a mod?

I want to be a mod because I saw they were struggling, so I offered my services to them.

I'd have to go with Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

Unless you've had street tacos, I doubt you've had authentic Mexican. Ever had tripe, before?

Nope, well, I only put authentic Mexican because if I would've just said Mexican that could also include Taco Bell and I'm not that huge of a fan of Taco Bell.

Question 6 may be a little over the edge, but the others are perfectly reasonable. If you have no web experience, obviously you aren't the person to report site problems to, even if only to be passed up the food chain. If you've got other experience that relates to modding/customer service/anything of the like, perhaps it would help people see you in a better light.

I don't post much in RT and I have no idea about the drama, but if the answers to any of them were yes wouldn't it be better to say so? Even if they're no, you'd gain some credibility through transparency. If you can't give an unbiased assessment of why you were allowed to become a mod, why should anyone believe you'll give unbiased assessments while performing your duties as a mod?

The same goes for the politics questions, the point of an AMA is to let people find out about you. When you're a mod with less than 1% as many posts as some of the regular users, people are going to be curious.

At least you explained why I should answer these questions without jumping down my throat negatively and because you were civil about the questions, it's only fair that I answer them for the community.

1. Do you have any experience moderating forums? Yes, I moderated a few forums elsewhere.
2. Do you have any experience with web programming? No
3. Do you have any experience in website administration? No
4. Do you have any experience in customer service? Yes, I worked for a while at the hellish place called McDonald's as a front counter worker, if that doesn't count as customer service, I don't know what does, especially when customers are screaming at you about something the cooks did wrong.
5. Do you have any experience managing personnel? Yes, I'm a great team leader while managing to get the main objective finished.

For some reason... I feel like Obama coming in after the mess Bush left him.

A few of us had actually re-iterated Lillica's questions without jumping down your throat with negativity, and even explained why we felt they were reasonable questions.

All Comeatmebro did was the same thing.

What thoughts/emotions drove you to create a thread such as this?

There was no negativity, or throat jumping to begin with.

I haven't seen anyone else ask me those questions. Mostly everyone else asked who I was and where I came from and why I became a mod. I've already answered those questions, and it seems like some of you don't want to accept my answers.

If I keep getting the same questions regardless of reiteration, I'm just going to start to copy and paste my previous answers.
