I didn't realize it until i saw the posting for alpha's video on it. And i gotta agree with him... 15 years! man i feel old...

Figured id add his video. He goes on to talk a bit about the ps2 and some of his favorite games for the system. What are your favorite game and fondest memories??

ps2 was great but it is long gone and dead now sorry.

I miss playing Dragon Quest 8. I tried to play it recently after playing PS4 my eyes are still recovering !

Great game but God is it tough to look at after playing new games.

I still play PS2 games on my PS3 occasionally. Just recently I played Radiata Stories, which is a Square Enix game, and it was a really fun game. 177 total characters that you can recruit (step aside Suikoden, still love you though) and the game had some catchy music from Noriyuki Iwadare. There wasn't a whole lot of story, but overall I liked it.

Wild Arms 3 (one of the best rpg's on PS2)

I'd think the PS2 game I probably played the most as a kid was Socom 2, that had a really solid multiplayer and I loved the campaign too.

PS2 huh...I picked Gamecube for that gen..only to buy a PS2 several years later since it had games I wanted to play.

Bought mine to play FFX on, would do it again.

that was a pretty interesting game. Had several aspects i liked. Such as the crafting abilities to armor and weapons. Tho i hated the random factor for success/fail and selecting the amount of money you wanted to use.
The storyline twist was pretty interesting as well. Im still short one achievement on that game tho. Got all them damn things on that list but one. Dealing exactly 77,777 damage. /fume

thats exactly why i wanted mine to. Solely because i wanted to get FFX when it came out.
Since then iv found a few rly good titles in addition tho. Like Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. Competing for my all time favorite console game. (Not including online games like 11. They are jsut two different things to me)



Thats a hard statement to support fully. Its hard to compete with my love for Nintendo and SNES back in the day. I can say tho that i don't think anything after the release of ps or ps2 has beaten it. (acknowledging that i haven't played on ps3 or 4)

I still have my 3 PS2's, one is even still hooked up! :)
