*I have Sephardic friends who, even after over 500 years of leaving Spain, still wear a Spanish name, Coronell. They were in no way interested in "returning" to Spain.
I suspect Portugal will find similar "success."

And they could both apologize about the mini holocausts and the forced conversions. Which neither has.
