Throwing this up in here as a place where we can point out to each other some games that might blow chunks under the guise of potentially being good. If you play a game that you thought might not be terribad and it was, leave a description for us here!

WWE2K15 (360 version): "Poop" - I haven't played a wrastlin game since the WCW days on N64 when the combat mechanics were complex and in depth. This game is a 3 button system, Reversals, Strikes, and Grapple/pin. Winning comes down to timing the reverse button on every enemy attack, and double reversing the enemy reversals.

The game's only saving grace is the insane character edit. You can make lots of detailed changes to make pretty much any character you want. There is a bit of a hassle when you start trying to edit your moveset, trying to assign an entire "superstar" set of moves to the above mentioned 3 button system is a lengthy and clumsy process.

The character edit falls short in the 360 and PS3 versions however, due to the lack of a career mode, which was left out on these consoles and is only found in the Xbone and PS4 versions. Why could this not be included? Saving disc space, programming time etc? IIRC the PSP version years ago had a customer wrastler career mode, so aside from pushing new consoles I don't see a good reason.
