Yet I'm not here arguing for discriminatory treatment of Muslims based on nothing but pants-wetting fear. Your misdirection is transparent and tiresome.

No, instead you are arguing that you are not bigoted at all, while claiming that you are only "bigoted against the bigots."

Not only are you a bigot, but also a hypocrite.

But go ahead and keep trying to tie me with discrimination towards Muslims.

Figured that's where this was going. There's no moral dilemma in not tolerating intolerance. If you want to violate anti-discrimination regulations, then enjoy your fines or loss of license.

Didn't create the quote I used, just referenced it.

you understood my point just fine about how moot the argument is.
I wasn't correcting you and I know of the phrase already...

So, it's not ok to be a bigot, except against certain people you don't like.

That totally doesn't make you a bigot~

I wouldn't.

Then again, my support to whoever is the Republican nominee will be limited to just my vote. Not giving out any money to anyone this election.

Gave some to Romney last time, was disappointed in the results.
Yeah I gave to Paul and well, there goes that money.
You can't give to any candidate anymore. You aren't a citizen.

Unless you are a dual-citizen. Then why the *** haven't you revoked your US citizenship yet? You know you will get taxed out of all of your earnings until you do.

Better to pay the 5% exit tax than being taxed on non-US income.
I'm still legally a U.S. citizen and carry a passport that includes all the rights associated with it.

I retain U.S. citizenship just because it is easier and haven't come across a need to change it and pick up citizenship elsewhere. There's a lot of stuff involved and having a valid social security number is helpful for certain financial reasons.

If and when the time comes I'm prepared, but it's still a pain in the *** to switch everything over and obtain citizenship elsewhere. Also what happens if Trump actually makes America great again and makes it worth moving back? That's always a possibility.

As far as taxes go, they don't concern me. There are Chinese people (in Texas) that take care of that stuff for me.

For now I'm nationality-fluid.

Why I dislike them is important. Stop trying to equivocate this. The proliferation of intolerance is not conducive to a healthy, free society. It has to be called out and stopped at some point. You said yourself it's ridiculous to stop Muslim immigration. You don't also think it's just wrong?

And who decides what "intolerance" means? Double standards are everywhere, but clearly only some kinds of intolerance are worth mentioning. Priority is decided by political expedience, of course.

And beyond that, what do you plan to do about intolerance? Force others to be tolerant? No, you can't do that. Ridicule the intolerant to a point where they hate you and become even more intolerant of whatever groups you belong to? Sounds like a winning idea!

I heard about Christie earlier, but not her. Seems about right though, her campaign was getting desperate. That whole anti-abortion presentation for little kids was ridiculous.

In this case, it's remarkably clear what it means. The plan is to not allow intolerance to be codified into law. Sorry if that rustles jimmies. Ridicule is just icing.

If reason appealed to the people fighting bigots, they'd find a better way to deal with them. Right now it's the closed-minded that fight the closed-minded, the intolerant that fight the intolerant. The party of "love and compassion" is attempting to antagonize the world into being more loving and compassionate. It's a farce.

Again with the equivocation. I'm not closed-minded for thinking we shouldn't ban all Muslims from entering the country. I'm not intolerant when I argue that businesses shouldn't be able to discriminate against lgbts. J.F. Christ. Those are not the same thing.

Dragging the argument into familiar territory isn't helping. There's still the problem of how those things have been fought against in the dumbest ways possible.
