also, think I broke the ashtray in one vendor's car.
it had a lid, press and it would open, close it and would lock on.

after doing it a couple (10 times?) it would not lock in.

There's a good one in Erie (Waldameer & Water World). For several years in the 90s it was rated one of the best in the country, though they've done little to expand or grow it in recent years until now (they're putting in a wave pool as we speak, however).

Another decent one is right down the highway from me in Ligonier, Pennsylvania at Idlewild Park & Soak Zone (why must these places always split their names? Must be tax reasons or some other regulatory issue)...which, oddly enough, I haven't been to in over 13 years, despite living so close to it for 10+. But it was really great when I went there in college.*

There are a lot of indoor water parks around here, too, which are popular due to them being able to be open in the winter without children, you know...freezing to death.

*why was college over 10 years ago? Son of a ***...

The amusement park is closed now, though the water park is still open.

Lots of amusement parks shut down since I was a little kid, it's sort of depressing. There were a few summers when I was 4-6 that we went to like...every amusement park in a 500 mile radius, it felt like. Great memories there.

I'm pretty sure we only went to the water park anyways. Was not aware of the amusement park attached. This is over 20 years ago too, mind you.

I saw this earlier today, and it's really sort of serindipidous, because I was just yesterday watching Batman: The Animated Series with my wife, and it was the episode with "The Grey Ghost", which is like the fictional Batman in the Batman universe, and they get Adam West to voice the washed up actor who used to play the Grey Ghost and you just start going..."Sweet Gob in Dangruf Wadi, THIS IS SO *** META!"

I'm one week into my renewed coffee regimine.

So far it's certainly made my mornings more productive.

Though it's also made my irritation w/ P&R more focused, so I've been trying to stay out of it a bit more and be slightly more passive about posting, but results have been mixed.

But on the note of coffee, can anyone suggest their favorite at-home coffee/K-cups?

K-cups? You monster. K-cups are terrible for the environment. Terrible person you...

...That being said, there are some amazing apple cider K-cups. Nothing like some hot apple cider. Mmmm. The blueberry coffee K-cups are really good too. I think they are wild mountain blueberry. Sounds right.

I've taken a liking to PT's Coffee due to my local coffee shop.

Favorite is probably the Santa Maria though recently I did purchase a bag of Las Capucas which I've been enjoying well enough.

That said, I can understand if that's a little too far for you to go for coffee since you may not have the conveniency of a local shop to buy it from. On top of this coffee is full of many tastes and it may be easier to nail down what would taste good for you if you at least told us a roast preference.

Green Mountain, yeah. My mom has been buying the Blueberry ones forever, they're pretty good.

I got a few spiced ciders in a variety pack, and yeah. I had one last night, it's freaking delicious.

As for this:

I will never have a child, therefore never throw away a disposable diaper or any of the countless other child-related plastic products of the world. Consider that the balance to my K-cup check.

I use darker roasts if I'm having them with milk and/or sugar, as to maintain the coffee flavor through the additions.

I prefer a lighter roast for drinking black.

So far my favorite black coffees have been Seattle's Best Breakfast Blend and Tim Horton's regular ol' coffee.

I've been thinking of trying a lighter roast variety or two from Peet's, as I've heard good things.

Never say never my friend.

99.9%, then?

Trust me, there's an extremely limited chance for a plethora of reasons.

The only way I'd see it happening is if a related couple were to pass away leaving children needing caring, and I was the best option. Which, sadly, I'm actually probably pretty high on the "best option" list.

So I guess I had better see to it that my in-laws stay in good health.

Some of our Canadian customers bring us Timmy's coffee from time to time. Always exciting when it happens :D

You know, I work with a guy whose last name actually is McFeely.

As for the inserts, yeah, maybe I'll pick one up, but Dama was worried about the granola-munching here, not me.

Found out that the job we were getting ready for was given to another company who was shown our bid. Needless to say, the director of the company we do business for was not happy. Sadly he's resigning this month and can't do anything about it.

Think it might be time we spoke with the Owner/Founder our family has worked for for 40 years. >.>

Nothing wrong with being a hippie. I enjoy hugging trees. They're strong, sturdy, offer oxygen and shade, and they're the only thing that hugs me.
