Because I was relatively young, but old enough that it wasn't for me when Power Rangers first came on, and I watched the first episode ever aired in the U.S. And upon seeing it, I immediately said, "This is a *** Voltron ripoff!" I can't even remember the power rangers theme. This makes me kinda sad.
Omg I just realized I don't remember the Beast Wars theme either. My childhood is vanishing! I know that the original blue ranger left the show because all the people working around him on the show were homophobic dickbags.
He's still friends with the pink ranger, so I assume she may be one of the exceptions.
