Just noticed I had beta codes in my emails for this on ps3 so currently downloading it.. about a 2hr+ download. Been checking out some of the videos for this lately and I am actually really looking forward to trying it, anyone else on there??
I don't think I have looked forward to a game so much back in 2008 when I first saw trailer for XIV, what happened after led me to never even bother but lately only heard good things, hopefully that's the case!

Ya the NDA allows you to talk about it and post screenshots now. Just no video.
NDA is to the point where you can't post media/stream. You can talk about the game though.

Sorry for the delay in clarifying this, and with today’s announcement seeming to cause more confusion. Here is how non-disclosure agreement will work in Beta Test phase 3: Information will be free to post. Everything is open and you can post freely about any aspect of the beta test and your thoughts on it. In regards to images and video in Beta Test phase 3: You can post images of phase 3 (no images from Alpha, phase 1 or phase 2) You cannot post audio or video. We will be making a more detailed announcement before the start of Beta phase 3, but I wanted to share this general overview now. I got my beta email but I realized I must have screwed up my application when I see that it's for EU and not NA so it doesn't work for my account D:

The Controlls are very smove and easy to handle. Shur, it doesnt look as goo as the PC Version but it is defenetly woth to play it. Well I don't have the greatest computer that can run it all on Max settings with 100+ FPS or whatever xD But honestly the PS3 and PC seem pretty equal in everything except graphics, PC pulls ahead there of course :x The UI and HUD are very crisp, clean and easy to use for both Controller and Keyboard/Mouse, no menu lag or anything. Players and NPCs can take a couple seconds to load into an area but it's not really anything you notice much unless you're quite nitpicky :x Overall I'd say the PS3 Version is looking excellent right now ^_^ where do you sign up for ps3 beta ?

Logging into the ps3 version to run around and try combat for a few mins to see. Only reason I wanted into the ps3 beta was to see how it was coming along,because those videoes they posted a while back were dire. Will be playing full release on pc though :D Ok after a quick runthrough of Ul'Dah and the immediate area around town and some combat. Its actually very playable for the console version. The fps only seems to drop when you have alot of people around you trying to load up. The loading times between zones are a little long,but its to be expected. The animations and effects have been cut down,but it makes sense why for the sake of performance.

So far the worst problem is just load times. Something I'll easily forgive a beta for. Its really annoying cause everyone is doing same quest and NPCs take forever to show up.
Yeah its pretty cool so far, the graphics are amazing as always.

ps3 version seems better to me. i have bother and spent 5 hours on them each so far. and playing with a controller seems a hell of alot easier and the HUD seems better to navigate to me.
