Not sure but after the last update,while leveling my NPC on DC mobs for 99, my FH have been doing some "good" damage, so decide to actually gear it up for it...

In Salvage II.. been doing normally 2000(1900-2500), getting as high as 3500. have anyone else notice this?

EDIT: and my relic still 95.... so probalby those w/ 99. should get better numbers

you're not going to see an increase in one handed DD damage compared to before, unless you have berserk, attack food, COR or BRD(minuets). Certainly not in low man situations like salvo.

It's actually super noticeable in Salvage (regular salvage enemies have really, really low DEF). Versus the bosses and NMs, they reduced level correction so you see a difference there too.

yup, not sure what SE was thinking on BR-II... those mobs are as hard as other floors mobs, it takes 20-30mins just on the first floor... and can clear the zone in 50sh mins..

Normally early floors have "easier" mobs...

everything. don't think it's limited to lv50, either. everything got level correction reduced by 1, i.e. a monster 2 lvls above you will only benefit from one.

2 = 1
3 = 2
4 = 3
5 = 4

etc

No, that's for defensive level correction. Check the update notes again.

Yeah, lol.

Also they did say that level correction for 2 LV above would mirror 1 LV above, but they never made clear whether they just shifted it or if they just made it scale with floor(dLV/2) instead of scaling with dLV. Has anyone tested and determined which is actually the case?

440 def

496 att, 144 STR (capped fSTR), 11D weapon

nmin: 15
nmax: 27
cmin: 32
cmax: 50

500 exp (level 102)

=

24/256 Level correction (12 per level)

anything further than that would be difficult to relay

Additionally, predicted values with 3 level correction would be 13, 26, 31, 49; observed values fit perfectly with my predictions for 2

actually in retrospect it could also prove /2 if it rounds up, which I do find unlikely based on wording and the fact that they very rarely round things up rather than trunctate, but the possibility exists

Well that lvl correction is nice.. Guess they are no IT mobs other than the adoulin ones to check FH damage.

But I haven't notice that difference on WS like shijin, ruinator (won't name Hi, CDC coz they are random outside aby) wonder how is coronach damage..

Btw how works the Lv correction when I'm higher lv than the mob? Coz on the ep birds outside tav. FH do good damage compared to before the update...

There's no positive level correction for players, so it's just neutral.

Hmmm so the lv correction is not the only reason for FH "new" damage

Max Spharai 95 FH damage with 160 VIT (lol) and capped fSTR would be ~2650 with no LC/ DA/TA/etc..

If you're at a lower ratio like you probably are in alot of these your max will be lower, but you also have two chances to multi-attack and you're wearing quite a bit of it.

I played with it the other night in Bhaflau II, was averaging 2,00~2,300 without DAs, hit a 4k with an obvious TA. It just seemed really random with no real consistent numbers... had an awesome 340 as well, and no I didn't forget a 0. This is my FH build

My SS average was 2,400 so overall I didn't see a big improvement. But my spharai are still 95, so maybe the addition bonus from 99 will make it more viable against weak mobs.

I will take screens and stuff next time I get the chance to derp with it again (most likely neo salvage again).

If you want to prove it was changed, go to a starter town on MNK/THF and use SA->Final Heaven against level 0 monsters in a VIT set without sources of fTP (like Gorget). Come back and post your VIT and the damages you did. Getting 10 should be enough at first if the effect is as large as you guys claim, and TP doesn't matter. If we see any that are outside the expected range, something was changed.
