Hi, I'm new to the crafting scene, just recently picked up cooking and am now lvl 76. I want start fishing and was wondering if guild tests were like guild points. Do I need to switch from the cooking guild to the fishing guild to take a test every ten skills, or can I remain in the cooking guild and simultaneously take tests for fishing?

guild test is not like guild item because think about it, you cant do guild points until lvl 30 so how did you do lvl 10 and 20 cap? So quick answer is you dont have to switch for guild test only if you want to start getting points towards fishing items like serpent rumors, waders, apron etc etc
