Any particular reason for pine based? We switched to this stuff and it's been a total godsend. Can't imagine going back to anything else.

Pine is pretty amazing at neutralizing odors. I've used clay for a long time which is great for clumping and disposal, but was horrendous with the smell and ammonia; even if cleaned daily.
Also my ultra-granola friend told me pine was prefered to clay as not to induce any urinary tract infections from subsequent dust.
