Ok, we have heard a lot that the new Dokkan-awaken Gohan is very good, but exactly how good he is. I think he is the best PHY card available on global right now, on every single aspect, and I will prove it by detailed math below.

Gohan’s max ATK at lv80 is: 5883. His passive will increase his base ATK to: 7647. This is without considering any links. Base ATK for the other cards are: Vegeta 6493, Piccolo 6334, and Trunk (Xeno) 6374. I will take Piccolo and Trunk (Xeno) out of the comparison from now on, because they have inferior base ATK compare to the new Gohan, and their links are worse.

Using all link skills, Gohan ATK will be: 7647 x 1.1 (Super Saiyan) + 700 (Saiyan Warrior Race) = 9111.
For Vegeta: 6493 x 1.1 (Super Saiyan) + 700 (Saiyan Warrior Race) = 7842.

Better yet, when using super attack this is where Gohan’s ture strength is revealed. There is a number called “12 Ki multiplier,” which is multiplied to your ATK number before Super Attack multiplier is applied. This number varies depend on character, from 115% (Kid Goku) to 145% (Final Form Frieza). SSJ Vegeta has a 140% 12 Ki multiplier. The new Gohan has an whooping 150% multiplier. Yes, you read that right, it is the highest multiplier according to the data I compiled so far. Combined with the ability to farm his super ATK to lv 10, he hits like a truck. Enough with words, let's work with the number.
Gohan Super ATK lv 1: 9111 x 1.5 (12 Ki multiplier) x 2 (huge damage) = 27332
Gohan Super ATK lv 10: 9111 x 1.5 (12 Ki multiplier) x 2.9 (huge damage) = 39631
Vegeta Super ATK lv 1 (which is a reasonable assumption I think): 7842 x 1.4 (12 Ki multiplier) x 2.2 (extreme damage) = 24151

So a free SR card has 64% more nuke potential than the best PHY SSR currently available.

Remember when you farmed Mecha Frieza, and struggled with super doing only 20k-40k damage, and it takes forever to burn him down? Let see how this Gohan would have helped you. Let’s say you take one 30% damage increase leader and one +3 Ki leader.

70k damage doesn’t sound bad at all. And 8 Ki (3 Ki from leader, 1 Ki from Golden Warrior) is a sustainable amount to get every two turn. With health pool of Mecha Frieza being about 300k, you would be able to kill in him in about 3-4 supers.

Better yet, I’m not sure if you guys noticed, but his lv 1 card after Dokkan Awaken show 3 XP for next level. That means he requires as much XP as an N card to level up. Remember how easy it is to level your fodder? That is how fast your Gohan will level. He only needs 213,853 XP to reach lv60, compare to 855,412 XP (regular SR) and 1,069,265 (regular SSR). That means, you can max him out in literally no time.

Being a free, farmable, fast to level SR that is better than the best PHY SSR that exists, this Gohan is absolutely amazing. What else can I say. Thanks Bandai :)
