I don't know the exact specifics of it as far as the actual laws go. But we provide a service and that service can be refused just like any other. I think it falls in line with how restaurants can refuse service.
A few did try to take the owner to court for discrimination, but they were essentially laughed out of the courtroom. Or so I heard.
Generally one has to treat all customers the same under the law, but it all boils down to how it's done and the area, and the judges.
Some (not sure if all) prohibit discrimination based on National origin, now I know that a city isn't a nation, however if say somebody barred people from Paris, but not the rest of France, they would probably still be in hot water. Idk, idc, and while I do understand the reason, I don't agree with it, then again I don't like any group discrimination.
