I'm sorry, I hope he does come back.

I live in SA, but when I was out in the middle of nowhere, I let my cats out to play on our property often. But too often they disappear and we figured a coyote got them. Always breaks my heart when they don't come back....

I was told by professionals today that I am the best age to start a family and I should start one now. So any of you that are 28, watch out; "You should start a family."

One doesn't want to be too old to really have the energy to spend a lot of time with the little ones after all.
I had forced attempts of marriage arrangements since I was 14 with random sons of surgeons. Eventually, some years later my dad realized I was going to destroy any guy they brought to me so they stopped that, but I'm still being told I have to get married.

When they tried to arrange it the choices were only doctors of various kind, because in the prophetic words of my dad's wife: "you'll always need doctors in your life".

why do people think they have to get married? I've been living in "sin" with my bf for 13 years, we have 2 children and run a business together... think i'm bound enough without the concept of marriage. Although yes it depends on where you live, in some countries being married still has legal advantages over living together.

I think what she meant was, doctors are not going to go away, ever, because of their socialistic need.

We may get rid of lawyers one day, but never doctors, need somebody to cast cure put a bandaid on us.

Legal and estate purposes only.

It doesn't matter if you are married or not in a social standpoint, cause you can always sleep with somebody else and all that ***.

But legally, and in cases of death (estate purposes) being married ensures community sharing of property with the married couples.

Yeah we dont have that here, just sign a piece of paper stating you live together and there are no legal disadvantages to not being married

Here in the states, being married means a larger tax break, cheaper insurance*, and estate purposes.

*cheaper insurance was a pre-ACA concept, back when you had a choice in what you want to have insurance of. Now that ACA determines what insurance you must have, it's actually more expensive to be insured with a spouse than by yourself. Adding kids makes the costs rise just a little, but it's actually cheaper to have individual coverage than it is to have family coverage.

I'm happy that I get to make my own hours on the weekend. Everyone else comes in 7:30 to 1. I roll in 9 am, only work about an hour and leave.
Work for 3 hours spread between 2 days, get over 40 hours of work done. Automation is grand.

This was my whole workweek on one machine last week. Over 113 machining hours on this stuff D:

Between set up time, and coming in on weekends to change wire spools only really put about 2 labour hours into it.
